My ipod has been stolen

I left my ipod touch in the hotel bar where I was during my hollidays in Tunisia, and when i came back a few minutes later, it had disapeared. What do I have to do to declare it stolen?
Do you think I could find it back, cause I didnt download the application to localise it. I get it for my brthday 15 days ago, and I'm so depressed.

You can't cancel your ITunes account. You would no longer be able to access your music.
If you don't want to use it anymore, simply remove your CC info.

IF it was an ipod touch AND you set up find my ipod BEFORE it was stolen AND it is on AND it is connected to wi-fi AND it has not been restored, THEN you may be able to find an approximate street address.
Otherwise, there is no way to track it or disable it.
