My ipod has completly knackered it's self and the touch screeen has completely packed in, wont work on the computer when i plug it in also i cannot switch it off or on standby. What should i do?
Well lately my ipod has just started playing up basicly the touch facility has started to not work it will not let me turn it of or on standby aswell when i plug it in to my computer so i can factory reset incase it has a virus on it but it does not show on the screen also i tried drayning the battery and then recharging in hope it will work but no it still does not work. I am really stuck and I need my ipod as soon as possible please help
hard reset the ipod. IN THIS ORDER. plug in the ipod, turn the ipod off, open itunes, press the sleep button (top) for 3 seconds, continue to press the sleep button and also (at the same time) press the home button. Contunue to do this until 3 seconds after the screen flashes. Then release the sleep button and continue to press the home button until the ipod shows up in itunes. do a factory reset.

I have the iPhone 4S and I cannot get my apps to download. I will click free then install and then it will ask for my password. Once I enter my password correctly it will verify my password an then it won't do anything. what should I do?
I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know! -

I'm afraid you'll have to get the phone serviced, dropping the phone must have damaged additional parts inside the phone.
But Apple will not service the phone anymore, opening the phone and replacing the battery should only be done by authorized personal, not by users.
You'll have to look for a 3rd party repair shop and see if they can fix this, sorry. -

There also might be an icon in the Dock where you can try the same.

Make sure your phone is connected to the computer and iTunes is open
1. Visit Instagram.com from your computer web browser
2. Click "Download in the app store"
3. It will download and show up in your iTunes
4. Highlight and sync the app to your iPhone (note: it will not show up on your phone, even after it says syncing is complete).
5. In iTunes, select the Instagram icon and click "Remove" or "Uninstall"
6. Click Accept and Uninstall when it asks you to confirm as it will remove instagram and its data from your iPhone
7. Disconnect the phone from the computer
