My ipod is 8gb and it wont let me download anymore songs, i currently have 1200 and i thought an 8gb ipod would hold at least 1700, can anybody help?

The number of songs that any iDevice will store depends on both the length/duration of songs and on the audio format(s) used. The figure of "1700" is nothing more than an estimate ... probably based on 3-minute songs and low bit-rates. There is no definitive number - your iPod's capacity is based on available memory (which, for an 8Gb iPod is actually around 7Gb). Best way to manage the content of your iPod is to create one or more playlists that are then used as the basis for sync operations (set this up when your iPod is connected).

After upgrading to Yosemite I have lost iPhoto. It has a cross through it in Finder, but I clicked on it and I was directed to download the latest version from the App store, but it is not available in the Australian store. Can anyone please help? I am not an advanced user and I would like my photos back, having had no idea I would lose iPhoto in the upgrade!
Thanks petermac87...but for some reason, the only purchases showing are OS. So assuming iPhoto is in Mountain Lion, I was hoping to look under Hidden Items there as you suggested, but there is no option for that. Only option is to download Mountain Lion again, not iPhoto specifically. Any ideas welcome!

A device becomes "associated" with an Apple ID when you turn on automatic downloads, iTunes Match, or download past purchases with the ID. Once this association is made, the device can't be associated with a different ID for 90 days. Even though this is your ID, the phone has already been associated with a different ID. You can't turn on automatic downloads with your ID on this phone for 90 days. You'll have to download the purchased apps, music and other media to your iTunes library and sync it to the phone until this 90 day period has expired and you can associate it with your ID.

Hmmmm, what to do. I know.......update your software on your iPad . If you have iOS 3.x a lot has changed, and you need to connect your iPad to your computer and install the latest OS via iTunes. I have no external devices connected to my Mac mini but still everytime I use it after about half hour to an hour in whatever I'm using wether it's the Internet or iPhoto or iTunes the beach ball appears and I cannot get it to stop I always have to press and hold the power button and force it to switch off I then do a safe reboot and it starts up again fine but same thing again after a certain amount of time it will freeze. I have also had on some occasions a bright white screen with a folder and a flashing question mark appear but it's not because of any external devices as they have all been removed please can someone help me as I have no idea why this keeps happening to my computer and I'm worried that there's something seriously wrong it's only about 6 months old and I have no experience in dealing with computers ??
