My iPod is BROKEN!!! HELP!!
So I have a 1st generation nano. I got it for my birthday (dec. 18) in 2005. So I've only had it for a year and a half now. Other than the battery life, it's been fine. Last night I plugged it into my PC to charge and I woke up this morning, clicked on iTunes, and it wasn't showing up connected. So I picked up my iPod and I heard a clicking noise coming from it. I put it closer to my ear and the noise wouldn't stop until I unplugged the USB cord from my PC. When I tried to turn it on it wouldn't turn on. I tried resetting it, nothing happened. Whenever I plug it in it just makes the clicking noise again. Someone PLEASE help, it's only a year a half old it should not be giving me problems like this!! thanks in advance!

It appears that something happened to yur computer/iTunes files. It happens sometimes. To recovery:
- Import the old music into the current iTunes library
- Make sure all the apps are also in the library
- If in the USA and therplaces where iCloud has benn released you can redownload most iTunes puchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- You can always redownload apps at no additional cost as long as you are singned into the same iTunes account the originally purchased them.
- After all the suff in in the iTunes library, make a backup of the iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPOd under Devices in iTunes.
- Restore the iPod from backup and restore as necessary. -

I got my iPod fixed somewhere where I obviously shouldn't have, and I'm now having the following problems:
Extremely weak wifi - The wifi is much poorer than it normally is. Before, I could get wifi in my room (2nd floor) and now I can barely get 1 bar in the room next to the router (basement)
Home button slipping - While my home button isn't popping out, it slips and the tech behind it can be seen. :C
Date? - When I got the iPod back the date was something like Jan 1 1970.
More problems will likely arise, but for now I am out $160 and have a broken iPod. Please help.Take it back to where you got it "fixed".

have you tried to reset it by holding the ome and power buttons down at the same time for about 1min or untill apple logo appears, also have you tried to restore the device?
if you attempted to restore the device and its requireing your passcode you may have to put the device into recovery mode, turn the device off, hold home button and plug into computer hold the button down untill the connect to itunes logo comes up
if the screen still does not work its the device and you should prolly either replace it or see if the apple retail store will repair your device -

I downloaded Magzter app button iPad 2 but when I buy magazines it is not getting downloaded but the same is getting downloaded in my iPod. Pl help. Magzter support is unable to help.
You will not be able to see what version you are running until the iPad is activated. It will be in Settings>General>About >Version when you can get to the settings app.
The slider bar that you are describing sounds like the screen lock side switch and that has no bearing on setting up the iPad or connecting to WiFi.
Why don't you try rebooting your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again and see if the iPad will recognize and join the network. -
I am using IOS 4.1 in Ipod touch. I would like to take my data back using icloud. I am not able to enable icloud in to my ipod touch. please help me for the same. Basically I am trying to take back to upgrade my ios to 5 or 6 version.
You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

ITunes will not add new songs to iPod. Please help!
Hello, my problem is pretty self-explainitory. I have the newest versions of itunes and ipod. When I plug in my ipod it "updates" it fine but once its done the new songs/artists/albums/playlists are not on my ipod.

Matthew.oh my gosh that is like the same thing that happened to me! i just downloaded itunes 7.0.2 yesterday and i bought some new songs and downloaded songs from cds into my library. i clicked "sync ipod" and the songs i downloaded from cds were the only things that went on!!!none of the songs i bought from itunes store went on my ipod!
i made sure i checked them and everything! they just won't go on my ipod!

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Can't Get Videos on iPod!! HELP PLZ!!
Argh!! I've had my iPod for almost 2 months, and I just can't figure out how to get videos on it. I've downloaded video converters for it and everything, and I still can't get videos onto iTunes to get onto my iPod. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
GO to edit, prefferences and choose the video section then look at all the options and press ok at the bottom of the pullup menu

neither my ipad or ipod are being recognized by itunes so i can't transfer songs from itunes playlists to the two devices. this is new, as far as a week ago i transferred music from the computer to the ipod. can anyone help?

My iPod no longer appears as folder/file in Itunes when connected. Library, genius, playlists, etc. are present, but there is no longer cross reference with the iPod itself. Help!?
I just tried it again and this time a different message showed up "The iPod 'name' cannot be synced. The required folder cannot be found." I have no clue what folder it could be talking about.

Basically connect the iPod to the computer. When it appears in iTunes go to edit-->preferences. Click the iPod tab. Select automatically update all songs or playlists or automatically update selected playlists and select playlist(s).
