Try a reset: Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

USB pours do not provide enough power to charge an iPad efficiently. Once you finish your sync go ahead and use your iPad. Put it on the charger that came with it later. -

Someting is wrongs. It shuld onluy take minutes with a 3G or later iPod.
Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.

Try placing the iPod in ecovery mode and then restoring the iPod via iTunes. For recovery mode see:

Next would beto wait for the battery to fully drain and the charge and try again. -
I tunes will not recognize it when plugged in since it is doing this thing, and I just don't know what to do. I just finished completing a final project on pages for school and now I'm worried I might not get this thing working before Wednesday to turn in the assignment!!!
First, try simply plugging into your wall charger and not the computer. If that does nothing do a hard reset by holding your home and power button down at the same time until the Apple logo flashes back on the screen and release. Typically about 6-8 seconds. If that doesn't do it, you might need to put it into DFU mode. Try the first two and let me know how it goes before we do the DFU procedure.

After installing IOS7 on my IPad2, it takes a very long time to charge and does not hold the charge. Should I uninstall IOS7, how do you do that? HELP!!
Do you have the cover on your ipad? If so you may need to go into settings>General and turn on lock/ unlock so that it goes into standby when cover is closed. Not sure this is your problem but it was why my battery didn't last long. As far as long charge time goes I have noticed it is taking longer to charge also. Hope they fix some of these bugs in the first update.

Hello, I bought an iPod touch 5th generation in november, it's working great for me, but there's something weird, i have to charge it everyday because I use fb, safari, youtube and some more apps but I noticed that the ipod charges in little time, for like 1 hour and a half and it looks fully charged, is it normal??? I'm scared the battery is damaged or something, i wanted to see how much time it can stand with just music but I can't stop using it for other stuff. Please help.
The indicator is not that accurate. The specs say:
Charging times: Fast charge in about 2 hours (80% capacity), full charge in about 4 hours

I was using my ipod touch 5th gen, when it ran out of battery. I wasn't able to charge it all night because the lighting adapter plug broke, and so this battery sign and the lighting charger sign kept popping up telling me to charge it. It ran like that all night and when I woke up it wouldn't turn on at all. I tried plugging it into a few different computers to charge it, and after several hours it still won't turn on. I tried plugging it into my computer with iTunes up, but it still would not charge and my computer would not recognize that it was there. Anyone want to give me some tips?

i bought a brand new MBP like 6 months ago and now it won't charge. I tried using a friends MBP charger of the same year as my computer but it still says not charging at the top right corner of the computer screen where the charging symbol is. This problem just happened out of nowhere because it was working the day before then the next day it just stopped working saying it is not charging. I tired doing all of the suggested techniques to fix it but not luck.
