My iPod is locked (stop to work) do 1 hour
I was doing a Mobli, and it lock, do 1 hour and it don't answer nothing. I tried pressing the, place to load and nothing.
Please help me.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

My 1-year ipod nano locked up and would not start overnight. The on/off button will not work and stopped holding charge. No water damage, no fall, nothing unusual. I restored it (twice) but it will still not hold charge and on/off does not work. I tried to restore it again and charged it in three different locations with different cables. etc but nothing. Suggestions?
- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.
- If no, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

- New cable and different USB port

My iPod screen just stopped working.
I was listening to a YouTube song when suddenly the music stopped. I tried to exit the app but it wouldn't budge. I tried locking the screen but when I went to unlock it, it appeared to the same screen with the YouTube app open without me having to have put in my passcode.
It wont let me restore and I don't know how to reset it.
I'm getting notifications and I am still able to use Siri. I asked her to see if I had any new emails to see if she could function when I suddenly found out that apparently my iPod was locked.
It wont show up with the lock screen. Just the same YouTube screen. I have that assisstive touch thingy that lets you lock the screen through the touch screen as well and it just keeps blinking. What's wrong with it and how do I fix this? Please, please help me.If the Home or Power button does not work see my replay to this post

All the outer buttons on my Ipod touch 4gen stopped working
I hadn't had my iPod for a while so the amount of apps I had to update was crazy. I pressed update all and waited. I couldn't do much on the ipod cuz most of the good apps were updating. I waited for about 15 minutes and rechecked my ipod. Most of them were still updating. Only 3-4 had successfully updated. I was becoming restless so I started playing with my ipod. I opened an app and was using it for a while. I got bored and pressed the home button to exit the app but the home button wasn't working. I though it had just frozen. My ipod did that alot but recovered quite quickly usually. So I touched the screen and the app still worked. Nothing at happened to it. I tried the sleep button and that wouldn't work either. The volume buttons weren't working as well. I put it on my carging dock and left it there for a while hoping that the lock scrren would show up but it didn't and now I have no idea what to do. Apple Inc. isn't exactly helping me cux their lines are busy. The battery is full so I thought I might wait till the battery died and then charge the ipod and hopefully it would work again. Please help me!! I don;t know what else to do. All the buttons were working fine then they ALL stopped suddenly.

My iPod touch suddenly stopped working. It was fine earlier, but when I went back a few hours later, the screen had gone black and I was unable to turn it on. It is now unresponsive and my computer does not recognize it when it is plugged in. I thought it just needed to be charged but there seems to be a larger issue now. What should I do?
Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.

My ipod touch has stopped playing through my Sony docking station, It only plays through the i pod. It's not the docking station as my daughter's ipod works fine on it. It can synch when connected to computer. Any ideas what is wrong?
Have discovered that I had not in fact updated the ios!!
Went through the process last night and my ipod now works fine on my docking station.

Hi. I have an ipod touch 4th generation, it's in perfectly good condition no cracks or anything. The issue is my ipod is locked and i'm not able to type in my passcode because the numeric keypad isn't working properly.For ex. when i hit 8 (which is the second number in my passcode) the number 5 type in. I have an ipod touch that i would like to restore to factory settings. Having said that the ipod is locked for over 1,000 minutes and i do not know the password. I know the trick of holding down the lock button and home button at the same time until the "Connect to iTunes" message pops up, but the lock button on my ipod does not work. My IPOD Touch just stop working - I was listening to music and it stop. I cannot power it down or re-start it. The time is correct and that is I can see at the top of the screen of the IPOD along with the battery info

It sounds like you are unable to successfully boot your iPod Touch. I would recommend these steps specifically from the following article, named:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
