My Ipod is not Authorized? Why not?

Hi-
I bought music on itunes and it will not upload into my pod. Every time I try to drag the THREE songs (come on, it's not even an entire CD) over to my ipod in itunes, this box pops up that says "your ipod is not authorized". Why the heck not? It is too!
Can anyone help??? I just want to listen to my music tomorrow morning at the gym.

Thanks -- Everyone reading this, how to fix: you click on the song(s) you bought on iTunes to activate them (you have to be online). A box pops up, you have to log into your iTunes account to activate the new music.
Still have a question though: why are two computers authorized to my iTunes account? I only have one laptop, it's the only computer I use for this stuff.

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked. I think that you are seeing that lock icon.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left. Unlock it there.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Itunes is telling me my computer is not authorized and not accepting apple ID

Recently, I've had problems with itunes popping up a message saying that the song I am trying to play (on my mac) is not accessible because this computer is not authorized. Then, the apple id that pops up has a misspelling in it and entering the correct password and correction to the misspelling, it still does not work. Then, I tried deauthorizing the entire computer and reauthorizing it. Says it is authorized, however, still no access to that song. Oddly, the help menu that pops up tells you about deauthorizing/authorizing and such, but if you click on any other area of the help menu it is "not currently available". Makes me suspicious that I have some malware thing. Paranoid? Can anyone help?

Sorry, I don't have a response. I just wanted to say that I have the exact same problem. It started about a week ago and a number of songs that I've purchased have been deleted from my ipod when I sync.
It's very frustrating.

If an iPod can play it, why not my Mac?

I can understand that my 533MHz G4 is getting long in the tooth, but I gotta think it's got way more processing power than an iPod. So how come the iPods can play the new hi-res videos but anything less than a 1GHz G4 can't keep up?

Screen recorder... anyone know of a Screen recording app for the iPhone 3G.. there is a very strange absence of this type of app! No, i dont want to JB my phone.

Well still goes back to what apps are allowed and not allowed to do. Since no app can intergrate into another app on the phone, it can only see and work with itself and what it displays, thus no app can really monitor the screen and record (to via cable output or however you want) because it cannot run unless it is the open app and thus you can only record that app.
iPod videos and YouTube videos are about the only things that can output via cable.
Now developers have as part of the SDK a virtual iPhone (I believe) and they can display on the computer the virtual iPhone when testing so I guess you can record that.

I have downloaded the download helper and the little triangle that is suppose to be there to download items is not appearing why not

I have an activex prompted and still not working why not

I have called customer service earlier today to try and
resolve why my flash player will not show movies. I have had flash
player in the past and it worked fine.
Now I have prompted my system to allow activeX to "prompt"
and still now movie will play after it has been downloaded and
uninstalled and downloaded again and again.
Please help me.

There are two different versions of Flash for Windows, the '''''ActiveX''''' version for IE and the '''Plugin''' version used by Firefox and most other browsers.
1.Download the Flash Plugin version setup file from here:

Cut and paste profile information for a designated website did not work, why not?

I followed instructions in https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Midas/Security_preferences to allow copy/paste options for a specific website but did not work. Why is there no user.js file already in profile folder? is there a specific text program I need to use to add in the required information? Should the file be called user.js? It all seemed so simple...

DVI to video will not work- why not?

I have a DVI to video adapter connected to my second dvi output.
I am running it to a small monitor via composite cable.
I can not get a clear image. The picture is black and white, distorted with crooked vertical black bars. It looks like it may be out of sync?
I read the manual- it seems easy, but I can not get a solid image.
How do I set this up?

Firefox English GB Dictionary not working, why not?

I had three dictionaries installed and working fine in conjunction with spellchecker in FF 19 - but having updated to FF 22.0 only English (United States) is included. I have added English-gb numerous times and done numerous reboots and or FF restarts but the English-gb is simply not an option when spelling check queries spelling. The English-gb dictionary shows up in my add-ons but it simply does not work. (the add-on is not disabled either).
Also adding words to a dictionary doesn't appear to work either and may be related.
To summerise: The English-gb dictionary is added as an active add-on but it does not work!
Operating system Windows 7 Ultimate.

Try to disable all other extensions.
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

Thank you all for your support. I am not very good at the vocabulary of computing. It seems my firefox has changed? I have the new toolbar on the left with the ability to click the star and add to my bookmarks. I have the download arrow and the house (home) button, but my 3 bar menu will not open. I have reset Firefox? I don't understand 'safe' mode. But, the problem still stays. I want to be able to customize Firefox from the dropdown menu button.

this is a simple answer .... press the alt key and it pops up (press the alt key when you need it)
the change is to make the working part of the browser larger and so it automatically conceals itself... that can be changed by selecting View > menu tool bar

Team membership invitation sent, accepted, but not active, why not?

My Admin user licenses page displays status as "Invitation sent" but not showing as active. How do I get it to show it as active?

hmmm. okay, let's try another standalone QT 7.0.3 install. this time we'll take a few additional precautions.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.3 installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware prior to the install.

if you get an error message on that install, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.

Facetime - iPod Touch and Mac can be done. Why not on iphone?

Here in Brazil we are facing the same problem like other countries. Facetime is not working on iPhone. (Waiting for Activation..)
I was wondering if Apple will enable an option to active iphone`s facetime through Apple ID to solve theses problems. It can be done on Ipod touch and Mac, why not on Iphones?

Reboot computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click the Restore button of iTunes. If still problem, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty. I am assuming you are using welcome screen to launch either Organizer and nothing is happening for you.
Open task manager and check under process tab is there any process named elements organizer.exe is running, if so end the process and relaunch the PSE again.
Also, Please let us know are you able to lauch Organizer/Editor from there exe's or you are facing the same issue. The paths are-
Organizer: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 9 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe

TS2446 om PayPal to Apple iTunes so I told them I had not authorized the payment Well little did I know I screwed up my renewal of iCloud storage. Did not remember I had set this up. Help!

I think I messed up my Apple ID account. It's been disabled and I think it's because I saw a charge on my paypal account from iTunes for $20 and I didn't recognize it as something I had done. So I told paypal I had not authorized it not realizing that I had for the iCloud storage a year ago! Now I need that storage and it won't let me buy it! Totally my mistake! Please help
