My ipod is unable to sync music after I updated to IOS 6
I updated my ipod touch to IOS 6 but now when I plug it into the computer it wont sync, a message that reads: "Itunes was unable to load data class information from sync services" comes up. I have tried to restore my ipod numerous times but it doesn't seem to work! what can I do, I have no music on my ipod???

Ipod touch wont sync music after restore/update
i recently came back from the apple store after trying to update my ipod to 4.2 and running across many errors. finally, my ipod is working again however as it had to be restored i have to sync everything back onto it. The apps, photos and videos synced fine but when it tries to sync music, itunes freezes right away. it will say syncing whatever song and it just stops. First, the number of songs and what song it syncs first seems to change every time i sync it. Sometimes it says 1 of 1 sometimes 168 out of 168, when it should be at least over 500 songs. Second, after i let the computer with the frozen itunes sit for a while, it came up with 2 error messages; one saying the song could not be synced because of error -20 i think, the second saying the data couldn't be written onto the ipod and then it froze forever on the finishing syncing bar. i've tried restarting my computer, disconnecting the internet and disabling my firewall. itunes is up to date and so is the ipod obviously. we use ca security center. please help i just want to be able to use my ipod again
the ca security people fixed my problem and its syncing fine. if anyone else has problems syncing while running ca security post on this forum and they will pm you the solution

I even have the updated version of iTunes and I am not sure what else I am supposed to do.
Yes, I have the exact same problem with my 4s! Updated to iOS 7 and can't sync. It's extremely frustrating, as music is crucial in my daily life. I was able to remove all songs from my iPhone...and now when I try to sync the 4,000 or so I've selected, it will sync maybe 11 or 12 (if it gets past the "Waiting for changes to be applied" screen), and then just completely stop. IPod Touch Won't Sync Music After iOS 7.0.3 Update.

I am sorry if there is another thread with the same issue, but I was wondering if anyone can help with this problem.
I have a 5th Generation iPod Touch and up until I updated it with the latest iOS software 7.0.3 everything had worked fine. I also updated iTunes (11.1.2.31)
Now when I downlaod a new song or album onto my iTunes library on my Windows 7 PC, when I plug in my iPod my computer recognises the iPod starts to sync but at the very end it says "Waiting for changes to be applied" for about a minute stalls slightly and then finishes the syncing.
I go to check my iPod to see if the latest track that I have downloaded is on there, the changes that were applied haven't been applied.
So, my question is has anyone heard if Apple is aware of the underlying problem and are they going to fix it with another software update or does anyone have any suggestions or answers that will definitely fix this problem?
The only way for now that I can get the song/album I paid for is by downloading it from my iPod in iTunes Store under "Purchased"
It seems if I do it that way it works and the song that I downlaoded onto my iPod directly goes onto my iTunes library the next time I open iTunes or boot up my PC.
Applications, photos and movies sync with no problem. Other than that everything works fine

OrlaGI am certain too that it is possibly the 7.0.3 update. Have you tried restoring from backup? I am uncertain that might work but its worth a try.
If that doesn't work I suggest that you give feedback to Apple directly. The more about this problem, the quicker it will get resolved.

After updating the new ios my iPhone will not sync any music. My iPad is syncs fine its just my iPhone 4.
This is almost embarassing. For some totally unexplainable reason all the songs in iTunes were unchecked. I was considering syncing the whole iTunes library to my iPnone, tut even with the 32 Gb version it would not hold it all. I restarted my MBP, and the message about the unchecked songs came up. It obviously is not enough to have songs checked for the iPhone. Thanks anyway.

I read your entire message, and my mom's iPhone 5 does this exact same thing. When the idiot at the AT&T store transferred her data (well, most of it) to her new phone, he DID NOT use her latest iCloud backup like he should have, but used some features in "Bump" to move things across. So, in my opinion, it's not worth the hassle of restoring it as a new device as Tim suggests. That's just the easy answer. Here's something odd about hers. It seems to do this, when she's using her bluetooth earpiece (a Jawbone Icon), but not when she's got bluetooth disabled on the iPhone 5 and holding down the "Home" button to activate Siri. If she uses her Jawbone bluetooth earpiece to activate Siri, the answer that Siri presents on the phone's screen will only stay on for about five seconds, then dim, then go blank -- and she has to "swipe to unlock" and, of course, the Siri information is gone. Not so if she uses the Home key to activate Siri.

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.

I am having a lot of issues syncing anything to my iPhone 4, just after i updated to iOS 5.
So i updated to ios 5 and i was having issues with everything. my photos and contacts and everything synced alright, but none of my music worked. so i restored it back to just after i updated to ios 5, and my music and ringtones and everything was working. but now, when i try to apply the ringtones - and some of them are even purchased - it plays what the ringtone is, but it just stays as marimba. any other default ringtones work, but none of my custom ones. do i have to keep restoring my iphone every time i want anything on it? cuz im worried ill ruin all my progress if i restore it again. when will an update be out, or does anyone have a solution?
