My ipod keeps crashing...again! I just start playing this game and by the time i press the app it returns me to my home page its fusturaiting. I allready restared te setting it was fine but only for like 5 minutes so please help me. Thank u.

Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod
if still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am having a very similar problem with my sister's nano. (3rd gen I believe)
It will be playing normally & then just suddenly stop. When she tries to get it to start playing again she finds that it has gone out to the Main menu & will not respond to anything. This last time, after doing a restore, it is acting as though it is still full & will not let me put her music back on it.

You will probably get several comments from some of the developers that hang out here about moving the question to the developer's forum. Not many of those using the Betas will comment on them on here due to non-disclosure agreement with Apple.

After ios5 update My Ipod keeps crashing, and the internet stops but shows wifi sign

Well, this all happened after the Ios5 update to my ipod touch 4th gen. The problems are that when im using my wifi, it just stops as if im not getting any reception, but it still shows the wifi sign on the top left corner. A temporary fix for this is to go to settings and put my ipod on airplane mode off and on to get it to work for like 5 minutes. Its really annoying when watching videos or on facebook, etc. The second problem that I've been having is that certain apps keep crashing on me, one that does it the most is safari, it seems to crash all the time for me and now my facebook, news apps, among others all seem to crash. I dont know if this is a problem with the update, but it sure seems like it. Is there any way to fix this?

My IPOD Keeps Crashing and Freezing

Hi guys new to the form but i got a pickle. I got this ipod from a friend and i tried getting the files off the ipod and not erasing all the files os i can put those files on my compy, i downloaded sum programs to do so, never got to work and once i disconnted it from my pc it just keeps restarting showing the apple logo. it looks like its trying to start up and keeps crashing. ilaready tried resetting it by pressing menu and slect button more than a hundred times. i dnt know if one of those progrmas currputed my iopd im sad and i dnt know what to do. Can anyone point me in a better diecrtions?

I updated my ipod touch 4g to iOS 6.0 and what happened to the youtube app? And why does my ipod keep on crashing when ever I go to the app store? Now i can never buy anything!!! or watch youtube videos and I'm always on youtube!!!!!!!!

As has been very well publicized in the news and all over the internet and forums, youtube is not part of ios 6. Google it.
You can get the app from the app store if you like.
Have you tried the basics from the manual to stop the crashing?
Restart, reset, restore.

Video iPod keeps crashing since latest firmware update

This has happened to me several times since the last update. Playing certain podcasts will cause the ipod to crash and reboot. Worst case was today. I had 4 unplayed episodes of the podcast 'Universe Today'. I clicked on one, the iPod crashed, rebooted and when I went back to that podcast directory 3 of the 4 episodes were gone (no longer listed) and the 4th was an empty file. All episodes play properly in iTunes. Very frustrating! Since I don't play games on my iPod, I guess the next step is to restore it to a previous rev.

Thank you for asking your question. It sounds like after you upgraded to Mavericks the computer started quitting unexpectedly. I would start by checking the disk for errors with the Disk Utility and repairing any that are found.

If the issue persists or the no errors are found I would try resetting the SMC and performing a Safe Boot in that order.

Starting up in Safe Mode
To start up into Safe Mode (to Safe Boot), follow these steps.
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.

The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
After the logo appears, you should see a progress bar during startup. This indicates that your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without holding any keys during startup.

Why does my iPod keep crashing and get stuck on the apple screen?

My iPod has crashed and gotten stuck on the apple screen multiple times now, I think three or four times. I take really good care of it and charge it alot. It's a generation 5 32 gig, but I have no idea how to fix it! I really want to save my pictures and contacts and whatnot so it is really annoying when it happens!!! Any help would be considered! New iPod keeps crashing out!

Hey there,
I just bought a New iPod and I'm having a few problems with it. Firstly, if i skip tracks it crashes if it do more than a couple. This can't be normal? Second, um is it normal that wiping the dust of an iPod scratches the crap out of it? It has a case which I keep it in all the time but i decided to give it a clean as it was a bit dusty inside (I moved house) and yeah, scratches.

mines only ever skiped when there was a gap in the mp3.. or is it most of them? i got scratches on mine the 1st day i had it all i did was put it on my desk..not sure about the skipping tracks unless ur doing it 1 after the other too fast

Ipod keeps crashing

Everything I do on my ipod touch 4g, 5.1 software, everything I do Freezes and Crashes. It was freezing and crashing in the lock screen, it wouldnt let me unlock it without freezing then going back into sleep mode. Ive tried restoring it, deleting apps that have been giving me some problems, scaned my music, but it still freezes. I just got it this christmas, so I havnt had it very long, just a few months. Its the newest generation, 4, its 5.1 software is up to date, and its 32gb.
