  • When i charge my ipod it runs out of battery in about an hour. Icharged overnight and did the same thing is there anyway i can fix this?

When I charge my Ipod it runs out of battery in 40 minutes. I charged overnight and lasted a little over an hour. How can I solve this problem. My Ipod is still under warranty.

You can try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restorefrom backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new Pod
If still problem then time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.  If defective, yoand not abouses, you hould walk out with a replacement.

  • I let my ipod touch run out of battery, i plugged it in, and i won't recognize my password. Help!

    OK-
I'm 13 years old and got an ipod touch for my last birthday.
And once in a while i get the Touch taken away.
This time, it got taken away for 3 days, it was out of battery,
    so i plugged it in.
When it finally came to, i typed in my password 'rise'
AND IT SAID IT WAS WRONG!!!!!
    Please help me...

You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it.  If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

  • My phone keeps running out of battery very quick:

My phone doing that thing with the arrows in the top right hand corner when its about to receive something or send something GRPS.
    But nothing comes through.
Ive had no e-mails or facebook notifications come through for well over a week now.
But the problem is, because its doing the arrow thing constantly its running the battery flat in the space of a few hours.
Ive checked my passwords on my e-mails, but its not helped at all!!
Ive turned the data off now, and it has stopped, so its definatly to do with the GPRS.
    Anyone got any ideas??
    Its an 8110.

Greetings, and welcome to the BlackBerry.com Support Forums.
The data arrows will continue even if you suspect no data is transferring because the device and the RIM servers and your carrier tower will continuously poll your device, sorta like a handshake just to make sure it is still there.
You could have some application (like an open active browser page) running in the background, as well.
There are many many reasons that data will transmit on your device even when you think it should not be doing so.
Here are some good charging tips, please read and you'll see that many of them will apply to you.

  • My iPod battery would runs out of battery fast.

My iPod would run out of battery fast but once I lock the iPod and reopen it, the battery would regenerate. What is wrong?

    1)  Apple - Batteries - iPod
    2)  The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup...  Restore as New...
    Restart / Reset   >  http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Backing up, Updating and Restoring  >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...

  • How do you fix lines that come up on an iPod Touch (5th Gen) once it turns on after running out of battery?

This has happened to me about 4 times now. I just got a brand new iPod touch (5th Gen) after replaceing my 4th gen iPod. I havent had it for a month, so its still brand new. The only thing is that when the iPod runs out of battery it turns off (duh) but it doesnt turn back on when you plug it in to charge. When I noticed that the iPod doesnt turn on, and I hit the power button, lines appear on my screen. They are lines that run up and down the screen from left to right. I try factory resets, setting resets, restoring my iPod. But this issue keeps coming up. I honestly dont know what to do. This thing is brand new and its acting up on me. Should I take it to my apple store? Should I just put up with it. I have tried everything and at this point I dont know what to do anymore. Please help!!

    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Since you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem
If the iPod is defective within warranty (you indicate it is) and not abused Apple will exchange it on the spot.

  • Does my music get lost if my iPod runs out of battery?

I've never got my iPod running out of battery, so I'm wondering if my music could get lost when the iPod runs out of battery?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
No, the iPod will keep the songs even if it runs out of battery power. Just charge it up again and you can play its songs.

  • Everytime my iPad runs out of battery i have to plug it into itunes and i have to keep restoring it

everytime my ipad 2 runs out of battery i have to plug it into iTunes. Once i have done that, everytime i do it tells me to restore it.
Ps. i have dropped my iPad and it keeps pressing the home button randomly (and even presses the home button countless times it turns to negative colours). I have tried everything:
    resetting the iPad
    turning it on and off
update it to the latest iOS etc.
Also when i plug my iPad into iTunes wanting to sync the music (which i havnt been able to do in months!) it automatically restores or tells me to do so anyways.

    Hey BuffaloB2013,
First, try force closing the App Store, which you can find out how to do here:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5137
And if that doesn't work, I would reset the device:
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
via: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
