My iPod Nano 3rd generation is not working HELP!!!
I was listening to my iPod in the car, and right after i watched a music video, it stopped working!! First, i couldn't see the album artwork on the coverflow, and then, when a watched a video, nothing happened. I listened to a song, but it didn't work! I turned it off for a while and still it didn't work. My guess is that my earphones had something to do with it, because when i got home, only one side was working!! I need help ASAP!!!!!! Thanks for reading my problem!!!!

My ipod nano 3rd G is not working
I have an ipod nano 3rd generation that does not funtion. When i turn it on it show the apple for 1 or 3 seconds and then a red circle with a red X in the middle appears. I have tried putting it in disk mode and restoring it but fail. The ipod does not seem to want to go into disk mode and is undetected by itunes or my computer. I am certain that there is nothing wrong with the wire since it works properly with my itouch.
I really don't know what do and i'm becoming frustrated with this issue. Can anyone please suggest any solutions.First of all this is the wrong forum. You need to repost in this forum http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=154

HT1369 IPod Nano 6th generation sync not working
I've run all the diagnostics, troubleshooting, reset the device. Device shows as being connected to computer and network. But, fails sync test. Help!!...Thanx...Michael
If a restore of the device to factory settings in iTunes, did not resolve the issue, it points to a hardware issue with the display's backlight. This means you'll need to take or send your iPod in for service either to Apple or a third party service. Here is Apple's pricing.
http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/
Google "iPod Nano repair" for third party service centers who would actually replace the damage part.

My Ipod Nano 3rd generation will not hold a charge.
I tryed to cord and left the nano charging for a day and as soon as i use it the battery is dead with in minutes.
Given that the Nano is more than a couple of years ago, it's likely that the battery is nearly shot and in need of replacement either by Apple, a 3rd party service center, or yourself if you feel up to the job.
Not much else you can do for troubleshooting this one. Sorry.

The iPod still start and also plays music, but I can't see anything on the display.
I can see the backlight, but not more...
I have reinstalled, recovered and restarted the iPod.
The firmware and iTunes is at the newest version.
Anyone got experience with this? Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks for your helpSounds like you have tried all of the regular troubleshooting. So it points to an issue with your nano's LCD display. You'll have want to have it repaired/replaced either by Apple or a third party repair company.

The power button on my iPod Nano 6th Generation is not working. Any suggestions?
Is this worth repairing?
Depends on how you do it and how much you like the size and the clip.
An out-of-warranty replacement at your nearest Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment before you go) will cost your $65/$75 USD depending on the size of your Nano. You can find a 3rd party repair site that will do it for less buy you won't be able to do an out-of-warranty replacement if something else fails. -
