My ipod refuses to sync or download any music.
This has been going on for about 4 months now and I am getting really frustrated. I have clicked and unclicked every box in the itunes to ipod sync tab (from the "manually manage" box to the "Sync music" tab). When I try to download songs to my ipod using these methods, itunes will say "syncing with ipod" for a split second and stop; no music added and nothing happens to my ipod. I can dowload things fine off the itunes store on my ipod, but all of the music on my itunes is stuck. I went as far as to restore my ipod twice but nothing seems to work. everything is updated and the ipod is a 4th generation. I don't really know of any other info to give but if you need more just ask for specifics.

hey thanks guys for helping an apple user out.... no it fine that I just wasted $200 on a product that magically stops working after the warenty runs out. its cool cause i have loads of money that I can just **** out my *** to buy more of your products. Thanks again!

Angs78, you purchase music from iTunes on the iPod touch. I know of no way to get music on the Nanao from the tablet. -
I recently purchased a 7th Gen iPod nano which I have downloaded my music to. However, when I try to play this it is showing on the iPod as play but I am getting no sound through. I have checked the headphones and reset it. Any ideas?
Haha I had the exact same problem. Once I had tried it like 4 different pairs of headphones i was ready to give my iPod back. Then I tried pushing the headphones in further and proceeded to kick myself. I seems a lot of people have the same problem, post it on here and realise a few minutes later.

My iPad won't download any music. It says download error try again. I have 100 downloads stuck on my downloads in iTunes store.
Remove the song in question from the sync list and see if the rectifies the problem.
If it does, then iTunes believes the song no longer exists on your drive and that will need to be corrected. -

Your songs should be imported in the library - check it first. Once that is done create a playlist of songs you want to copy on to your ipod ( file -->newplaylist) Either right click on song to copy to playlist or left click and drag (from your main library)
After that you right click on "hayleys's ipod) , select
ipod options, select music and set it to either update all
songs and playlist/ or selected playlists.

Hey Ehlam Managua, You have tried a different set of headphones, still no joy-- OK. (1st step in trouble shooting completed). Just to be clear the sound still works through the speaker, correct? If so, try quickly plugging / unplugging the headphone jack about 12 times, there is a tiny switch inside the port that may be stuck closed. If so the plugging / unplugging should free it up. If still no joy, have you tried turning your iPod off then turn it back on? If that doesn't work go into Setting>General>Reset then tap Reset All Settings. If still no joy, connect with your computer, make a full set of backups from this iPod to your computer, then Restore to Backup. If still won't work, Restore to New. If still nothing, could be dealing with a hardware issue. Contact your Apple store and set up an appointment to have your iPod evaluated.

iCloud storage has absolutely nothing to do with local storage. You need to free up space on the iPad in order to download the movies. You can transfer some content into iTunes and then delete it from the iPad in order to make room on the device.
Settings>General>Usage>Storage is where you delete content if you want to do it in there. -

Add another good card and delete the old one, Yu can also purchase and redeem an iTunes gift card and hthen delee the bad credit card. Yu need a valid payment method for update as well even purchasing free apps if the account was set up with a credit card.

so how do i get this ipod to sync withoutIt sounds like you previously synced to a different computer. Yo can only synce to one computer/iTunes Libray but you can manage music among different computer. See:

If you want to permanently change syncing computers best would be to move the backup file from your old computer and move it to the new computer and then restore your iPod from that backup. For the location of the backup file see:

If you do not have the backup you will have to restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -
I have recently got a new computer, and decided to transfer my iTunes from my iPod (for I had to delete my music off my father's iTunes to conserve memory). I copied the files from my iPod onto my new iTunes account.When I synced my iPod with my iTunes, it refused to sync some songs which I had downloaded off iTunes onto my new iPod, for it says my computer is not authoraiazed, even though I have alredy authorized my computer.
