My iPod says" try again in 22,123,456 minutes" how do I fix?

You need to follow the procedure in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 and may need to do that more than once.

Connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore via iTunes. If iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcode or you dod not have the syncing computer, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

This is covered in the manual and you can get that here:

  • My iphone4 will turn off at 47% battery and when i attempt to turn it back on it says dead, until it is placed in the charger and it says 47% again, what does this mean and how can i fix it?

Hey I just got an iphone 4 and everytime it gets to around 47% battery it dies, when I try to turn it on it says the battery is dead, when i place it in the charger it says 47% then continues to charge, could this be over heating or a bug? What is it and how do I fix it?

Hopefully one of these steps should solve the problem.
    1. System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
        Highlight  Internal Speakers
Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
    2. Remove the headphone.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
    3. Reset PRAM.  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
    4. Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
        Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
    5. Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup
        Audio Devices window
        Side Bar
        Click the Built-in Output.
Under Mute any of the boxes checked? If so, uncheck it.
    6. System Preferences > Sound> Sound Effects
        Play sound effects through:
Select "Internal speakers" and then back to "Selected sound output device".

  • All of a sudden my Firefox brower will not open correctly. It keeps telling me that it is trying to restore the previous session, but it doesnt' matter if I press the Restore button or the Close button to try again, it will not work. How can I fix this?

After I hit the Close button and try to reopen it tells me that Firefox is currently already running and to either close it or restart my computer. Which I did, and it didn't do anything. Also, when I press the restore button, it will not restore, it just sits there. Please help, I hate Internet Explorer and I don't want to use it longer than I need to.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
    * Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

  • MY IPHONE 4 HAS COME UP WITH A MESSAGE, 'PHONE IS DISABLED, TRY AGAIN IN 23,562,928 MINS. hOW DO i UNLOCK THIS?

Hi, my iphone screen went 'large and I was distracted for a minute or two. When I came back to it it had locked me out, however, it was impossible to return to a normal size print to log in. I finally reduced the print by reconnecting the battery. Now It says I the phone is disabled, probably due to all my failed attempts to log in with print enlarged. How do 're-able' my phone? Apple keep asking for me to send data from my phone which I cant do while its disabled.

If the iPhone is in recovery mode, all data is already lost.
    Restore it.

  • My ipod touch is all of a sudden not letting me do anything that requires my password. I can buy apps or anything. I put in my password and it gives me an error and says try again later. It works fine if I am accessing the store thru my computer. Help?

My ipod touch is all of a sudden not letting me do anything that requires using my password. I can't buy anything and I can't check my purchases. Every time I put in my password I get an error message and it says try again later. This has been happening for 4 days now. I can play my existing games just fine. I can access my itunes store through the internet just fine with my password, but just not on my ipod touch. I sent an email to the itunes support store 3 days ago and have not heard back from them. Does anybody have any suggestions on why this is happening all of a sudden after having the ipod for almost 2 years?

Something you can try is resetting it all Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. Or go to Settings > Store & sign out & log back in. Another thing you can do is restore your ipod. This has happened to me but the only thing i did was that i created a new account but try doing the things above i just told you. :)

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

  • My daughters ipod is disabled it says try again in 22,360, 982 minutes what do I do to make it work?

My daughter's ipod touch has locked - it says ipod disabled try again in 22, 360, 976 minutes!  How do I unlock it?

You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it.  If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.
