I wouldn't say that you cant get a new one. It is because there is a one year warranty and if it didn't expire yet then you could still trade in your ipod touch. If your warranty expired than just buy a new one and install it or get a professional to do it.

Mac air 2010 model just had screen replaced but its dead, no display nothing. the thunderbolt port works fine, this is how I'm asking my question i.e.; on the mac air, if anyone can help get this new screen

im a newby to this but i really need help fixing my macbook air a1369 2010 model display screen, i have replaced all new but its just dead a black screen with no power getting to it at all even the backlit led is dead so the inverter isnt getting power to it either. everything works perfectly through another monitor hoocked into the thunderbolt port, its just theres no power going into the built in display.
i would really appreciate some pointers as to whether theres any fuses that i could change or any pointers on getting the display to work at all. thank you for taking the time to read this and hope you can help a newby get back up & running.

Confused, if you just had screen replaced was it working when you picked it up? I'd call whoever fixed it and report it ASAP.

I bought a new iPhone 4 and want to give my 3G phone to my daughter. However, the screen has 1 scratch and the back side is very scratched and looks old. Is there a way to get this replaced?

Constant minimization and can't get the full screen --Intel Imac 17"

I am obiviously a newbie. the windows constantly minimize with no apparent cause. How can I stop this and get some work done? Is it the mighty mouse, expose? I have tried them all

When you say minimize, are describing something like on a PC or when it minimizes do you see the page in dock?
If you look at the lower right hand corner of an open window, you'll see a tirangular shape, you can click on this triangle and drag the window to a new size. You can fill up your entire screen by positioning your window and then dragging the corner to size it.
I think this is what you meant... Rick
BTW - the red dot closes - the yellow minimizes - the green optimizes the window so no horizontal scrolling is needed

Unfortunately most warranties do NOT cover theft.
However, take this as a lesson. Next time make sure to set-up Find My iPhone through iCloud.com. I had my iPod stolen once and I was able to track it back and find it easily with that program!
