the ipod screen will not let me slide to unlock but i can listen to music when i double tap the home button and use the camera. when i use the camera only the bottem part where you snap a picture will work if i touch any part of the screen. my ipod was no where near water and was working right before i put it down.

Try a Reset...
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release the buttons...

I am having the SAME exact problem! Except instead of lock button broken it's my home button so I can't do the whole "put in recovery mode" deal. My screen only says "tap the home button 3 times" and it has my screen locked until I hit the home button but since it is broken I can't get in my phone at all. HT4623 After updating my phone yesterday it worked for about 30 minutes. Now however, it will not let me "Slide To Unlock" the screen is totally unusable and i have alarms that go off every 8 minutes because i am not able to get into my phone to them off.

Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

You have to put in a credit card number so you can purchase a game thats free or 0.99 cents or higher then you have to fill in other stuff then press next on your ipod touch or computer then it says you have succesifully created an apple id! recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not iOS device
turn phone off
hold home button and plug cable into phone. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

try this:
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

When I lock my screen it says phone is locked and whenever I click anything it reads it out but does not let me slide to unlock the screen often but when it does it just reads of my pass code and letters but doesn't unlock my phone .

A Voice is reading everything that I click on, on my lock screen out loud but doesn't let me slide to unlock ect i canny access the phone

My iPod will not let me change the setting. Everytime I try to do so I get an error message saying: The iPod cannot be synced. The required disk cannot be found. not sure why it says this and any help would be nice. Thanks

first the biggest one: the ipod will not let me chnage it's settings (it syncs, but when you go to the device panel all the options are grey and I can't change them)- what to do?
You change the settings on the iPod via the summary screen which automatically opens when you connect the iPod. I do not know what the "device panel" is.
2-for some reason i can not see the radio option in my ipod's main menu even though I have put it there several times, and am still unable to play any radio.
The radio option is only selectable when you have connected the radio/remote accessory (which is purchased separately). There is no built in radio on the iPod.
3- my ipod has been having a bit of a delay issue lately, just a few seconds i which it is stuck

4-i am inly able to put soem of my video podcasts on my ipod why is that?
Don't know. Where are these video podcasts from? Not everything you get from the internet is iPod compatible.
