My iPod shows that my battery is receiving energy and that it is "charging," but it doesn't actually charge. The battery never increases; it only decreases. Even when I have it physically plugged in and charging, it loses battery whenever I am using an APP or anything. I'm thinking that the chip that receives the energy is damaged or worn out. Is there anyway to fix it without going to the store? My USB chords is fine. It charges other iPods fine. Including a second generation iPod which means my 4th generation iPod should not have an physical battery problem. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

I love firefox 3.08 but when I install any improved versions they will not run on my desktop even when I have disabled all add ons and the firewall, can you help?

my system is Windows XP Media Center 2005 Hp model
I use Avast anti virus but have disabled it when loading firefox
I removed the Mcfee firewall which I thought might have stopped it running
I disabled all the add ons in case that was the problem

For some reason I cannot hear music when I plug in my headphone on my ipad, but headphines are not broken.

Have you very used headphones or earbuds with an iPad before? It really takes quite a firm push to seat the earphones into the jack, you do have to give it a good push.

I have converted to iCloud and am trying to turn on photo streaming in aperture. The tab to turn it on is missing. I have updated to latest software and ideas?

I just converted to I cloud. Everything seems to be working fine but when I go to Apperture prefferences to turn on photo streaming the tab to do so is missing. ANy ideas? I have the latest version on everything and have rebooted the computer

Actually you would need Aperture 3.2 in order to use Photo Stream.
Did you buy from the Mac App Store or do you have the disks / Trial version?
Check the MAS for the update if you bought from there. If not, make sure that Aperture is in your Applications folder and named simply Aperture.

Your using more energy to play WOW and there isn't any to charge the battery.
You do have a overly unnecessary, power hungry, excessively high resolution screen with a bloated OS X version and your also playing 3D games on it, that's what you should expect to occur.

Please make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service. By now it probably cannot be fixed, but you never know.

Well, that is going to make it difficult, since the first two steps of user troubleshooting require the use of the power button. I suggest you get that fixed.

Plug it into power for at least 15 minutes. If it doesn't automatically come on, try a reset... press the home and sleep (on/off) buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

If by "charger," you mean the USB docking cable, you need the original cable (or a compatible third-party replacement cable). A cable that is for the current 4th gen (and 3rd gen) shuffle does not work with a 2nd gen shuffle, because the connector is different.

There are third-party products that work, but make sure it is described as being for the 2nd gen shuffle. And I would avoid the ones that just seem too cheap, because there are likely to be quality issues.
