My iPod shows emails but the screen seems frozen

My iPod will not allow me to open emails or delete them. The screen seems frozen and touching it to open an email, edit etc., does nothing at all. I use my iPad to access emails and this activity is picked up on the iPod, but If I tap on an email to open it, nothing happens at all. Mail works okay as do other functions. Any suggestions greatly received.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>Mail and turn off and then back on the accounts
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I have an Ipad mini but the screen seems to have a sticking problem around the O&P DELETE area if in Landscape mode which results in the continual typing of these if in Keyboard mode or the selecting of whichever app is in that area despite me not actually touching it. I've been trying all day. Now the ipod has a itunes sign and a computer lead pointing towards it on the screen and this is frozen. It won't switch off or do anything else. - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Why is it that my ipod works internally but the screen is just blank?

My ipod touch 4th gen works on the inside, like it takes creenshots still. but whenever i open the screen its just white?

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean. However...
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely. Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

Is it possible to lock the camera so the screen does not respond to touch? Everything else works but camera screen seems frozen.

My camera screen acts like it is locked. Everything else on the phone is fine and I only have fourteen photo's on the phone, one day it worked and the next day the screen does not respond. Have I done something?

Help! What do I do if my IPad says that it cannot back up because my iCloud storage doesn't have enough room. It directs me to either "Cancel" or go to "Settings" but the screen is frozen and it won't let me do either. I have removed a lot of pictures and video that I had downloaded. Then tried to reconnect it to the computer to see if another attempt would prompt a back up with less need, but that did not help.

It's happened to me before as well. Try holding both lock(top right) and home buttons simultaneously until u see a slight flash of wight then just reboot it normally. If that doesn't work try restoring your device from itunes
