Hi!My NEW shuffle doesn't work.IT is dead!I used it as it is written in rules and I listened to the music.In the middle of playing just dropped dead.NO signal, no blinking light, NOTHING!Then I couldn't wake up, it didn't react on USB connection with lap top, it didn't react on anything is has been done with it!After leaving it few days,I connected it to Lap top and worked.Then worked agian and now I wanted to put some more music on it and it doesn't RESPOND.NOTHING.Like someone would take batteries out.No thing, no reaction, no response.NOTHING.Please, can you help me, what to do?I live in Europe,shuffle was bought in USA.Thanks guys!

Hi!Thanx for advice, but I did. I tried everything, but nothing.Any other ideas. I can't believe that completely new shuffle doesn't response at all.Please,more suggestion.How many of you had the same problem?I am so satisfied with it - using at sport that twice and it was perfect, so I really want it back.

If the music on this nonworking Shuffle is not in your iTunes library or in a backup somewhere, I'm afraid you are out of luck. You'll need to redownload any past purchases you had on there via iCloud. It shouldn't cost you anything. See here for more details.

I had the same problem with my iPad, i couldn't get the newer version of itunes because the computer was too old and my iPad couldnt sync with the old itunes. I got a PC from school a few months later so that solved the problem for me. Unfortunately i don't think there would be a program to put your music on your iPod, iTunes should be the only way to transfer files to Apple devices. What operating system are you running and what version of it is it?

However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can be used to transfer song files from iPod to computer. If you do a search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your new computer's hard drive, drag them (or the folder containing the files) to the iTunes window, to add them to the iTunes library.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back

Go to the Apple Store webpage and in the upper right go to Account and select Track an Order. There you will find the status of your order. You only get a tracking order when the items ships.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
