My Ipod shut off and wont turn back on even when its been fully charged, and it was working perfectly fine 4 hours ago. What do I do?
I don't know what happened as it was working perfectly fine, and all of a sudden it shuts off and even when I pressed down on the on and home buttons at the same time, it wouldn't turn on. I don't know what to do.

Display has no backlight or dark screen
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.

Do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps for unexpected power off issues found in the article below.
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

My i-phone wont turn on and I don't know why, it went off all of a sudden even thought the battery was half charged, I've tried holding the power and home buttons to reset it but that hasnt worked, I don't know what else to try, can anyone help?
Charge it for 30 minutes with the wall charger, then hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time for up to 30 seconds. If nothing happens your phone is probably broken.

What app were you on? It could have triggered an automatic shut down because the files in the app may be corrupted.
Do you have a computer with iTunes on it? If so, plug your usb cord into the computer, pull up itunes, then hold down the home button while plugging it into the cord(which should already be plugged into the computer)... hopefully that would force it into recovery mode! Once you get to that point you'll have to restore the ipad. I hope youve done backups in the past or it will be wiped clean... good luck! -

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My macbook pro randomly switched off and wont turn back on. I have tried to charge it but it wont work. How can I get it to turn back on??
It's more than likely broken, a part has failed. You need to take it to a Apple store Genius Bar to be checked out and fixed. Or just buy a new Mac as to fix the one you have might be cost prohibitive. Especially if your warranty has expired.

All of them said in effect, too bad, you'll have to lose everything since your last backup. It's a work phone with very important stuff on it and the latest backup was on a computer that had a virus. Happened to talk to a friend who said to try replacing the battery. Did that. Problem fixed. All data saved.
To all Apple support people: rather than say 'once it's in recovery mode you lose all data' try saying 'replace your battery and see if that works first'!!!! -

My ipod nano 3g suddenly turns off and wont turn back on .
After a while my ipod turns off and wont turn back on the charge on the battery marks at least half of the power, it happends when im listening to music after a few minutes i connected it and turned back on instantly with the apple logo so i disconected it, and tried again and happened again.. im using another headphones . is there any way to check battery life ? What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting? If nothing else, work through each of the 5 R's of troubleshooting for your iPod to rule out the possibility of any sort of software error/glitch or data corruption.

Otherwise, you have a hardware issue, meaning you'll need to either take or send your iPod in for service/replacement either via Apple or a third party service.
