My Ipod touch shut down while I was using it and will not come back on. Any suggestions on what I should do??

Have you tried holding the Home and Power buttons at the same time? You should let them go when the Apple logo appears.

Also try another cable, another charging source. Further look at the dock connector in the iPod. Look for abnormalities like foreign material, bend or corroded contacts, broken or cracked plastic.

my ipod was fully charged and was working perfectly.
i locked it and when i tried to unlock it my touch screen wouldnt work.
i tried reseting it by pressing the home button and the power button.
it started to reboot then froze on the apple logo screen.
after waiting for twenty minutes or so i tried reseting it again while it was still on the apple logo screen,
then it turned off and now will not turn back on.
i have tried plugging it into my computer to see if it would by some miracle turn back on but i have been unsuccessful
my ipod is my life, if anyone can help me fix it i would greatly appriciate it!!!!!!!!

My Iphone 4 just shut off and now will not turn back on. I was listening to music, it started to make a static sound then shut off and will not turn back on. What do I do?

Battery dead?
Plug it into the charger that came with the iPhone and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Leave it plugged in for 20 minutes. Then while still plugged in reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

MBP will not start up. was working fine and shut down and put to charge and now will not power back up. Screen will light up and then power shuts back down. Any thoughts?

ok phone worked one minute and then just cut off and has not come back on ..... no water damage no extreme temperatures.... will not sync with itunes account ... nothing ... any suggestions

try putting it on recovery mode or dfu mode or http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 or try to connect the iphone to your computer while holding the home button, if this doeant work more likely your battery is totally dead try doing a hard reset while the iphone is connected to the usb port by pressing the home button and sleep/wake button at same time and wait for the apple to appear and release the sleep wake button usually this works ... restore the iphone..... if it still continueds to shut down your logic board or the battery is already bad

Be sure to try charging it off the wall plug, not a USB cable to your computer - USB connections generally do not supply enough power for an iPad.

Hi Everyone, I am a grandmother who is very new to these smartphones. I got one of the droid incrdible 2's by HTC. The phone was working fine until one night I turned it off and went to bed. Upon waking found the phone would not turn back on??? Has anyone had this problem??? I mean I get nothing!!! It powers on or something because if you look real close you can see the screen is barely lit. You can make out a blue looking screen, no apps or nothing. I have tried taking out the battery and I just do not know where to go from here. If anyone can help me please direct message me. The same thing is happening with mine. Went to the Verizon store ... said it was a faulty battery. Low and behold none of the stores in my area even had a battery in stock. Have had to wait 5 days for it to come in the mail. Cost me over $30!!!!!! Anyway ... after about 15 min.of the rep trying different things, the phone finally came on .... barely. He told me to keep it plugged in. It actually started working fine for almost a week ... now its doing it again. Battery came today .. gonna give it a try. Apparently this is an issue with ALOT of people with this phone. WHY DOESN'T VERIZON ADDRESS IT!?
Makes me rethink my choices when my contract is up in February. May do some shopping for a different carrier! I have been a Verizon customer for forever ... you would think they would make this right!

My Iphone 5c keeps shutting off my itself for no reason,and it will not turn on for awhile, then it'll just turn on by itself.

It'll be just sitting on the table & it'll just turn off and it takes like 5 minutes to turn it back on. Sometimes the screen will freeze and lines will come on the screen and the screen will go purple, and it'll just turn off. What should I do? Go get it looked at? Does it sound like water damage or something? I just got it like a week ago. It hasn't been dropped or anything. Shouldn't be no water damage.

Do a reset, hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up... if that doesn't work try it with the phone charge to the wall outlet.
