My ipod tells me to connect to itunes but I can't, because Itunes says to enter my password but the connenct to itunes won't go away on ipod
My Ipod wasn't working for awhile, but now I got it on again. I have it plugged in my computer and Itunes is telling me that I have too put my password in so they can connect to my Ipod, but my Ipod won't come off the screen telling me too connect to Itunes. I'm stuck and I don't know what to do. Please help me.
This means you will need to put the device into a Forced Recovery Mode in order to restore the device. You can do this by connecting the device to your computer, holding the Home & Power buttons together until the device restarts with an Apple Logo, once you see this logo pop up remove your finger from the Power Button continuing to hold down the Home Button. You should then see a prompt within iTunes stating that it has detected a Device in Recovery Mode. Proceed through the restore prompts and it should be ok to use again.

When I try to sync my iPod with iTunes I can't because it says it's over capacity. It's not. It's a 16 GB iPod, it's only 105 songs on there. No movies or pictures or such. Anybody got a word of advise? I've tried resetting the iPod but get the message that it's not possible cause i'm not connected to internet. I am though. Tried managing music manually. Go to Settings > General > Usage and see how much is shown available and how much is in "Other".

It has been over a week since I click to open mozilla and it won't. This has never happened before. I decided to uninstall it and install it back again to see if it would work, but a window pops up and says to close it. I can't get it to open it, so how can I close it?

When I got my ipod I made an account with iTunes right from my ipod.Yesterday, I made a password lock to get into my ipod and I couldn't get into it even though I did the correct one. Now it says"connect to iTunes" BUT I can't because I never registered on the computer. I've tried holding the home and sleep/wake button for 10 sec and then only the home for 5sec and that might have reset it, but it didn't help. If any of you guys know what to do so I can unlock it I would appreciate it VERY much.

I have imac mac os 10.6.7, I can't access to internet with my ipod touch using my imac airport...what's wrong? my ipod tells me is connected and airport is active...so? what should I do?right, figured it out. had to put it in disk mode, then reconnect, then it was recognized, then i restored and put everything back onto it. hope this helps anyone else who has a similar problem

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). My ipad mini says ipad is diable and to connect to itunes. I have connected to Itunes but the ipad says the same thing. I downloaded IO7 and nothing has happened. Also it tells me to enter my password on the computer and the mini is completly frozen. Please help.

My iphone 3gs will not connect to itunes and it says that I need to do a system restore. It also says that I need to enter my password on the iphone to connect to itunes but I can not do this because the phone is in emergency phone call mode only.
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo. -
My IPOD Classic Video 5. Gen. showed videos, but now it does no longer show them, instead i see a black picture on my IPOD and it doesn`t work. I have to restart it every time, i try it. i restore the software with itunes, but the problem still exists.

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
My Apple ID was disabled. I reseted it successfully. Afterwards, when I am trying to update the pending apps in App Store on my phone, in order to sign in to iTunes Store I am requested to enter a password to the wrong Apple ID which definitely does not belong to me ('[email protected]'). Of course, I don't know this password and, consequently, I can't connect to Itunes Store on my Iphone. As a result my Viber and Facetime are not active in the meanwhile. What should I do? Was it new or second hand?
You have to sign out then sign in with the correct Apple ID and password.

I would suggest that you buy a visa or mastercard gift card and put a few dollars on it and use it to access the store. Just add money to it before you want to buy something from the store and it will act like a normal credit card for you.
