My iPod Touch 2G doesn't rotate in Safari
I have resetted the iPod compeltely. I have resetted the settings. It still won't rotate.
And I can't double tap home to bring up the multitasking bar because I don't have one!
I don't know how to fix this and it's driving me crazy!
- The 2G iPod does not have multitasking. Thus, there is no multitasking bar.
- Does the screen rotate for other apps?
- Try restoring the iPod from backup via iTunes on your computer.
- Next try restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.

I've got the same problem as well. When i connect all i see is "set up your iphone" screen. It worked perfectly fine a couple of weeks back when I last synced but, doesn't sycn anymore.

2 of my movies are no longer working in my iTunes or on my iPod Touch, One doesn't play at all and the other gets to about 29:00 than stops working and I don't want to buy them again. Then also when I added a non-iTunes movie and tried to have iTunes make an iPod/IPhone version it gave me error -4. What's happening to my movies?
I also have to add that the right earbud only doesn't work on my phone while i'm listening to music. If I'm face timing it's okay. what the heck.

The maps also can't find the location.You do have Location Services turned on in Settings>Privacy, right?
For location the iPod uses the location of nearby wifi routers that are in Apple's database. You do not have to be connected to the network/router to use that router's location. Thus, it appears that the iPod can't see a nearby router that is in Apple's database. Apple continuously updated their database based on info they obtain from iPhones. No one has been able to find a way to inform Apple of a router or correct is location. -

You cannot buy music from itunes, as they do not sell it in your coutnry. You would have to buy elsewhere. -

I was wondering why the iPhone 5 has the option for a battery percentage and the iPod touch 5g doesn't? I mean... they are almost both the same thing... just the iPod does not have the phone.
One likely reason is the % battery is not that accurate because of the smaller battery capacity in the iPod compared to iPhone and iPad. Users why use a % battery app post that the % reading changes a lot.

Whenever I try to sync my ipod touch, it doesn't work. The computer seems to get hung during the back up stage. It says it is backing up the ipod but nothing happens, for hours. I eventually have to interrupt it and give up.
I have the latest itunes.
I tried resetting sync history.

This doesn't seem to make sense for my situation. I don't sync anything between outlook and my ipod touch.
I have no other USB devices connected to my computer.
I have no other Windows users on my computer - only me and I am the administrator. However on my diagnostic, it said this user is not the administrator. Weird.

I think you have an Accessibility feature turned on. Triple click the Home button and then try to go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn all Accessibility features off. To scroll you may have to use three fingers. If proem see:

iPod touch 5 is not rotating on the web and certain games. The lock button is not on. Also on some racing games you have to hold vertical for it to go in straight line in tilt mode.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
