My ipod 2g is frozen on the enter passcode screen and i tried to shut it down but it dosen't what do i do?
- Try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try the article again.
- If still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

It seems as your iOS Software Is most likely corrupt. Try doing a software restore in iTunes by clicking in your iPod and clicking the Restore button. This will restore your iPod to factory settings. So back up your Music, Videos, and purchases before restoring.

I had an app that wouldn't finish installing so i restarted my ipod touch 4th gen by turning off the device put when i tried to power back on my ipod doesn't get past the silver apple start up screen and my computer doesn't recognize it. I have tried to put it into recovery mode i've tried everything i could possibly think of. About every fifteen minutes the screen flashes white and tries to restart again with the same results. Can ANYBODY help me with this in any way.
This has happened to me but i don't know what to do because my Itunes kept closing down and it shut down half way through updating and it just comes up with a silver apple and it won't turn off and now it's just frozen and it also doesn't recognise it when i opened up itunes again after i reset it to the factory settings
