MacBook Pro turned off on its own and now won't turn back on.  Battery had 41% just before this happened and green indicator on power cord is showing, so it seems like it's charging.  What should I do?

The led on the power adapter should be amber if it is charging.  Green just indicates that it is supplying power to the MBP.
    Try a SMC reset:

  • IMessage turns off on its own, can't be turned back on

I have an iphone 5, and starting this morning none of my texts or imessages would send, and I can't receive messages either. If i turn my phone off and back on, messages will send and receive like normal for about the first minute that it's on. After that if i go into settings -> messages, it appears that imessage has turned off on its own, and can't be turned back on. Basically I've had to restart my phone every time I want to send a message, and when I do restart it, messages finally pop up that had been sent to me hours ago. I have tried resetting my network settings, toggling the imessage on and off (it won't let me do that though), a hard reset, and restoring to factory settings. Nothing has worked and I'm not sure what else to try.

    RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).

  • HT201412 i updated my ipod touch 4g to IOS 5.1.1 and it wont turn on!

So i updated my ipod touch 4g to iod 5.1.1 and i restored it to the last back up i did so i didnt lose anything and now it wont turn on!
its stuck at the apple logo (like when you turn it on) with a bar under it and nothing is happening. i just got this ipod and i would very much like it fixed.

    Try here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If not successful and you can't completely turn the iPod off, let the battery fully drain. That can awhile. After charging for at least an hour try again.
If stil not successful time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • My iphone turned off yesteday by itself  and it wont turn back on today. can anyone help me on this problem?

  • IPod classic randomly restored on its own and now wont connect to itunes..

    Hey guys
So last week i sync'd my iPod Classic 80gb and everything worked fine.
I've been away for the week and have used my iPod in a couple of different speakers/car transmitters/playstation etc and they have all worked fine.
Then when I got home today, the ipod says 'connected' but doesnt come up in itunes.
However, it does come up in my computer as 'steff's ipod' and shows that there is space being used on the ipod, even though it comes up as blank when i use it.
After I unplugged this it froze and once i got it back unfrozen, everything appears to be gone.
Now whenever i plug it in nothing comes up in itunes even though it says 'connected' however when i unplug it, an error then comes up in itunes saying it cannot sync with the ipod.
The first time i plugged it in it did come up with an error saying it was corrupt.
I've tried installing windows 7 updates, and uninstalling and reinstalling itunes but now itunes just freezees once the ipod is connected to the computer.
Now something similar happened to me a while ago and ended up killing my ipod, I had to go back to Apple and they offered me a refurbished one.
However that time it didnt restore on it's own, something just went wrong and it couldnt sync, but it started with the 'corrupt ipod' message so im thinking its something with my computer that's causing this (the guy at the Apple store did say that my PC caused the problem but i dont know how!)
Any assistance would be great, I don't really feel like spending another 200 dollars on a third ipod.
    Thanks!

update- now it will come up in itunes and says it detects an ipod in recovery mode and to restore it.
I do this and it says the ipod will reset and come back up in itunes when it is done, however it never comes back up and either itunes ends up freezing or the ipod does.
then after i reset the computer it goes around in circles and does all of this again

  • 8120 turning off on its own and rebooting

This is a replacement phone from my first phone and I am frustrated. The phone reboots itself in the middle of using the phone. Sometimes it won't do it for a long time other times it will do it several times in a row within minutes.

What OS are you running? Seems all the 4.5 have issues.

Try a restore. If that does not work, you probably have a hardware issue.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I turn iPad on I get a box that says Not Enough Storage and neither the Closeor Settings buttons do anything. The iPad turns off on its own. It is full charged.

    Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up
