My Ipod Touch 32gb 4g home button has started freezing. I press home and it only occasionally works. How can i fix this?

I want to know is it the software or is it broken.
I press home to return to the main menu and it 40% of the time works. It makes using the Ipod difficult and uncomfortable and i'm really dissapionted and don't want to use it for fear that it will get worse.
Not only this but sometimes when i press lock screen it just flashes the screen.
I updated to Ios5 recently and had no problems. I have 1GB of memory left. All my apps are functioning no bother.
I havent bashed my ipod around, the screen only has minor scratches so i don't think i've been careless however my broter and sister regularly use it too so it doesn't have much rest time.
Also is it better to power off or lock screen at night?

If you go to the Now Playing screen, the Repeat control is the the arrowed racetrack icon on the left side right below the scrubber bar. Tap the icon to change. It is white when Repeat is off.

The warranty is only good in the country of purchase.

Without having the top button, you couldn't do a hard reset.
I'd say you might be looking at backing up and restoring through iTunes unfortunatley.

Did you spill any liquids on your keyboard? If you are in the habit of eating and drinking while using your computer, the keyboard is probably dirty. Use a can of compressed air or a vacuum hose to remove the debris underneath the key. If that does not work, you may actually have a hardware issue.
If you Apple Care, call them and get a case number. Otherwise, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you. Liquid damage is not covered under Apple's standard 1 year warranty or Apple Care.
NOTE: If you are out of warranty and purchased the computer with a credit card, discuss the warranty issue with the credit card company which you purchased the computer with. They are the only ones who can at this point cover the computer after it goes out of warranty with the manufacturer (Apple).
If you have Homeowners insurance, place a claim with them.

My wife saved a pic from email through quick save to iPhoto. Now icon changed to notepad and iphoto is gone? how can I fix this? she has 25000 pics? Help!!

My wife got a couple (2) pics in email from a friend. She used "quick view" and clicked "save to iPhoto" now her iPhoto icon is gone and was replaced with a Note pad with pens? It wont open iPhoto? I went to Finder to iPhoto and it actually has one of the pictures as icon? If you click on it nothing happens. i went to the plug in and pics are still there. How can I fix this? I went to app store to try to find my origional iPhoto but dont know where to look there? We are novices on this. It is a desktop Mac running OS X 10.5.8 Can anyone help? Thanks

When I take pictures with my iPod 4th gen it will flip my pictures right away, as if it's a mirror. How can I fix this?

Okay, so my iPod 4th gen has been acting up. Everytime I take a picture while facing the camera, it flips my picture. So if I take a picture of my right side, it'll show my left side. It's very annoying and I can only take mirror pics >.< someone please help me!

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

After rebooting my ipod touch 5, all of my apps that i installed from the appstore disappeared, the memory from the apps is there, but i cant find the apps, in usage, folders, spotlight search, i tried everything and nothing worked, how can i fix this?

If you are saying you can't turn off find my phone because it is still using an old ID, you need to change your ID back to the old address at My Apple ID turn off find my phone then change your ID back at my Apple ID.

If the above step did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.
