My ipod touch 3g displays logo and low power but will not turn on
My Ipod 3g displays the apple logo and the low battery screen but it will not turn on.
Help please?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

- Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, cracked or broken plastic.

My Ipod touch 4th gen shows up under devices but will not let me sync to it.
I am using windows XP with the newest updates. I have itunes 10.5 currently installed on the computer. My ipod does not have the newest ios software on it. When I plug my Ipod up, it opens itunes and loads it under devices correctly. Since i don't currently have an internet connection the itunes store tries to open and I close the box out, which it gives me an error that "the itnunes store could not be connected, check cable connections and try again". A white screen is visibile with the word "Ipod" in the middle on the right side. My Ipod at this point is still visible under devices, but can not sync to it; under file the sync to ipod command is grayed out, unable to be clicked on. The ipod connect and synced perfect with itunes 9 before upgrade to 10.5. Any suggestions to fix this problem would be great.
Figured the problem out. I had to be hooked up to the internet the first time that I hooked my Ipod touch up so that I could register it through the Itunes store. Since I got the newest Itunes 10.5, it requires that I register the Apple product first. Now with the internet unplugged I can plug my Ipod touch into the computer and sync it up like I normally do.

itunes on my computer has the up to date software, just my ipod that doesn't.
i've tried updating it by connecting it to the computer, and just on the ipod itself, neither work.

Remote turns tv off and controls volume, but will not turn on

The original tv remote has separate buttons for on and off. Is there any way to get the FIOS remote to both turn the tv on and off?the new remote control is not like the old one with multiple codes.
it has only one for samsung.

If the new one won't work no matter what, then you'll just have to make a decision on how to use the tv. the FiOS remotes are garunteed to work the cable boxes, but not garunteed to work all the tv's out there. The older remote (which they don't offer for free anymore) may be able to do it, and you can try code 0729 with the newer samsung. The button on my Ipod Touch (the big one just below the screen) will not work when I press it. Nothing happens, when before it would wake my IPod out of sleep mode, and exit out of programs I was using (ex. ITunes or Safari to main screen) . Now, no reactions. When I press the button, it appears to be more indented then it was before. What should I do? Do I need to get it fixed or replaced, or is this a problem I can fix on my own? My iPod touch was stolen.. and recovered.. but the kid that stole it cleared my iPod and "made it his own".. it has a password that makes me unable to use it. (He won't give up the password). I have tried to do the restore thru iTunes but the "note" from iTunes says it is unable to restore without the current password.. is there anyway around this... HELP !
You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Since my IPOD Touch upgraded to IOS 8.1.2 it will not play well with my 2013 Charger's UConnect entertainment system. It will not build a library so I can not Browse or Shuffle. The only thing it does is list all the songs alphabetically when connected via USB.
- Contact the manufacturer/go to their support site.
- Sometimes this works
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Sometimes and ISO update breaks compatibioity and a firmware update the the dock is required or an iOS update is required.
Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple. -
My 160GB ipod classic stopped whilst playing music and will not turn back on despite having almost a full battery. I have tried connecting to itunes and a docking station but will not turn on at all - HELP?!
I've had this from new for 2 years, the battery life is excellent and lasts for days so I know it's not a power issue as it was fully charged that morning. No signs of connection in itunes, it's not showing as a connected device.

Hi i have a mac book pro, older model. my battery is full but will not turn on. instead it play a tone of three sequential low toned beeps over and over again. ive have this problem before, thought it was just a sighn of over heating because id let it sit for a few hours and it would start up again. now its been off for a week and still the same tone with no responding at all. please help i dont understand why at all.

Take out the modules, clean the contacts with alcohol and make certain that they are firmly seated.

I really goofed.
