My iPod touch (3rd gen) isn't putting out sound other than static and high pitched noises through the tv hookup, the built in speakers, and headphones. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it?
Everything on my iPod touch (3rd gen) works just fine except the audio out put.
Try #2 and #3 in link below. If neither work, you most likely have a hardware issue. Contact Apple or a third-party service center.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

If you are using Firefox 3.6.6 version, open Tools > Options >> Advanced - Network
The under Connections hit the Settings button - then select '''No proxy''' at the top of those settings. Restart Firefox and you should be all set.

If I replace my Ipod touch 4th gen screen with a local company other then Apple will the Apple warrenty be void or will the warrenty be void if I replace the screen myself?
Regardless of what Apple may or may not say about repair work done by a third party (a non-Apple company or you yourself), the Magnuson-Moss Act precludes them from voiding your warranty simply because you had work done by a third party or used non-OEM parts. Typically people hear of thie Act as it is applied to cars. Car manufacturers cannot require you go to a dealership for repairs or that you use OEM parts. They cannot void your warranty for doing that. The Act applies to all consumer goods. Computer manufacturers cannot require you send your computer to them for memory upgrades or that you use memory supplied by them. Apple cannot require you to go to Apple for repair work or that you use Apple parts in that repair.
With that said, though, if you have a problem in the future, Apple could make the claim that it was the result of damage from improper repair or substandard parts. Your only recourse would be the court system, not a quick or inexpensive endeavor. -

Whenever I charge it, the lower back part gets really hot so I have to unplug it because it might explode.
I went to my local mall, and they had a repairing place there so I had it checked. They said there was something wrong with the batteries.
I brung it to an authorized Mac store, and the jerk in the Service area said it was disposable. Like I should just throw it away.(I don't spit money, so of course I didn't.)

The new tab opens when I click a link in the existing window, but, not when I click the + or File; New Tab. It always worked in previous versions. I tried re-installing, but, that didn't fix it either.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Having an issue with errors on a livecycle project, can anyone tell me what's wrong?

When you click the add button to add another column, the column appears (exactly how it should) but then this error comes up. I don't know much about any of this, but I think it's because there's something extra that shouldn't be in the code? Can anyone confirm for me or give me an answer on this? I feel like it's simple but I have little to no experience with livecycle.

Like I said, I don't know much, but it looks to be the same error just in different context based off of the Oplus1Table for the first error and WitnessTable for the next.

There could potentially be a long duration between servlet.init() and servlet.doPost(). So, the connection that you establish during init() may be disconnected by timeout or other means by the time the code in doPost() uses "con" . Suggestions:
1) log exceptions
2) use a container managed JDBC connection pool
3) post in the correct forum (Application Server) -
Ipod Touch 3rd Gen isn't recognized by ITunes.
So I bought my 3g today and everything was working lovely. Later though, I open up ITunes. ITunes decided that It wanted to act like this was the first time it had ever been used. So it shows me the 'welcome to ITunes' setup window. I go through through that ordeal but then I notice my ipod isn't showing up in the sidebar. So I go through troubleshooting and the 5 R's thing to no avail. So i reinstall ITunes expecting a fix. Since I'm posting here you could guess I still have the problem.
Things I Know:
My Ipod is charging, it has the green battery symbol.
Anytime it's plugged in it shows the 'scanner and camera wizard instantly, even though there are no pictures to copy over.
I tried plugging in my sister's 1st gen touch and got the same results.
