My ipod touch 4g apps do not open once I sync it to itunes

Recently I purchased an Ipod touch 4g. And ever since I satred downloading the apps and then syncing my ipod to itunes rather to just charge the ipod or upload music once I have ejected the ipod  the apps do not open when I try to.
At first I tought it was because the apps where free so that's why they were doing that so I would just delete them and re downlaod, but I have bought 2 apps now and it did the same thing and I do not want to delete them once I already bought them.
-please Help Marlene

- Try resetting the iPod. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- From the iPod purchase/install, a free app diretly from the App store.not by syncing.,

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • IPod touch 2nd gen will not open in iTunes. Ideas?

I upgrading the latest version of iTunes and I went to sync my iPod touch 2nd gen to get my latest podcasts and it would not sync or even recognize in iTunes. My PC recognizes the drive. But iTunes is a no go. I suspected it was just the latest version of iTunes so I downgraded back to the previous version and got the same results. I've switched USB ports, cables and have restarted numerous times. I even uninstalled the device from the device manager but nothing is working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

  • Updated new version 4.3.3 to iPod touch, now apps are not working?how can I restore to previous use?

After updating, if u push on an icon it flashes and goes straight back to mainscreen.. How can I fix this problem? Or restore it to before updating 4.3.3?

There is no legitimate way of downgrading the iOS version.
    Try in order:
    - Restting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restoring the iPod from backup via iTunes
    - Restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.

  • HT1689 I can reach the iTunes Store from my iPod Touch, but it will not open on my PC running Windows 7.  Message shows that iTunes has stopped working.  This happens every time.  I have updated iTunes Software.  Will not solve the problem.  What is wrong

I have uninstalled iTunes several times and reinstalled it on my PC running Window 7 with all updated loaded.  When I click on the iTunes Store Box, Nothing happens except for a message that reads:
              iTunes has stopped working.
The following items give me a choice, but no answer comes up.  The computer will shut down the website.
"Check online for a solution and close the program"
              "Close the program."
There is an item below the box that is selectable for View problem details.  When clicked a long list of items show up.  I have listed some of the problems as written, but I do not understand them.  I know the iTunes Store has been available on earlier versions of of iTunes but is not on this version.  How can we go back and download an earlier version of iTunes?
Here are some of the Problem Details:
         "Problem signature:  APPCRASH
         Application Name:     iTunes.exe
         Application Version:  11.0.1.12
         Application Timestamp:  50c8fc7e"

I had this exact same problem.  I found this fix and it worked for me.
    Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
    Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you.  I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.
    Good Luck.

  • I have the IPOD Touch Generation 3.  I can no longer sync songs from itunes.  They said it is an Apple issue not Itunes since they are downloaded.  How can I syn the new songs??

I have been given to itunes numerous times by Apple. ITUNES have referred me back to Apple as I may not have the current software on my IPOD TOUCH, model MC086LL.  I have purchased/downloaded songs, but they will not sync to my IPOD.  ITUNES again said this is an issue with the IPOD TOUCH software not them.   Does anyone know how I can get this resolved??

Carolyn Samit, what are yo saying? He say he has a MC086LL at iOS 4,2. That is a 2G iPod. The software update comes with iOS 5 and the 2G can only go to iOS 4.2.1

  • My (up to date) iPod touch 5th gen is not showing up in (up to date) iTunes on my Windows 8.1 laptop.

I have recently bought a new laptop and downloaded iTunes to it right away. I have not been able to connect my iPod touch 5th gen to iTunes at all since then. I have updated both the iPod and iTunes completely and both are up to date. I tried different iPods of the same generation and they haven't connected either. I have tried using different cables and all my usb ports. I tried resetting my iPod and re-installing iTunes to my computer. My iPod is showing up in my computer but not under devices in iTunes. Can anyone help?

Check out the troubleshooting steps at this link from support: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
For me it was step 5 (Apple Mobile Device USB Driver) that solved the problem of none of my iOS devices being recognized by iTunes in the 11.3.1.2 version and Windows 8.1

Also, the Calendar is loading very very slowly, and sometimes it quits and gives me the same error message as above.

The problem has been fixed with the most recent OS X software update.
