My iPod touch 4g is having a huge lag.

Well, I had an iPod touch 4g before, but then it cracked and I got a new one. The new one is a 4th generation,16gb. I have this huge lag that won't go away. Sometimes it does go away. How I make it go away is let it charge for at least an hour, and then it'll work. How I know it doesn't work is it won't make sound. When I have the lag, I can't watch videos, and the keyboard is awfully slow. When you type, you know how when you press a letter the letter gets kind of bigger? Yeah, well, I press the letter, and it gets bigger, but stays bigger, and the iPod is totally frozen!
I do not want to get a new iPod, because this is the second one I got. :/ And the nearest apple store is 200-300 miles away. I know it's 99 cents to replace, but mo, I can't. I need to make this lag go away as soon as possible. When you hear the shutter sound, when you slide to unlock, and you hear the letters sound, it means the lag is not there. However, the lag comes back quickly! You hear this little sound coming from the charging place, it's really strange. This first happened like 4 moths ago, when I updated the app Instagram. That's how I even got the lag! And then it usually starts to lag when I use kik messanger.
I really need this problem fixed, it has been bugging me, and making me stressed out..please help! Also, when I try to update it on settings, it says it is already updated!

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
Next:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have iPod touch 5 and having problems with charging(data cable is ok), when I have contacted support in my country, they would like to have recieve and warranty letter that I do not have. What should I do?

Ukrainian Apple Authorized Service Provider tells me to bring it, but iPod was purchased in US)

IPod Touch 4Gen is having problems.

So as you could see in the head line its an iPod Touch 4g and so Ive had it about 11 months now. Im still in the warranty if your wondering. Now heres what ive experience prepare to read alot.
So the first month I used it it got wonderful battery life with wifi & blutooth on. Birghtness was all the way up and I used it quiet often to text play games netflix blogs etc. Bascilly its my second computer. Ive got around 8-10 hours of battery life when I had it for the first month. But over time the battery slowly holds less charge which I get which im on of those geeks who loves his electronics. I took care of this iPod like it was my CHILD (and no im not married im only a teenager under 18). I never would let my friends use it because well one they might drop it and two loom up **** on it! So its been in my hands only unless my mom took away which ill get to that later.
Second month now it gets about 6-8 hours didnt really notice but i was ok still doing what I do then I got this neat toy from Brookstone. It was the rover 1.0 which was awesome never could stop playing with it casing me to run through so many batteries. During those times the iPod starts to heat up I mean get warm. So I took it to somewhere cold like the fridge and left it in there for about a minute and in no time its cool again. Also I got new speakers blutooth ones there awsome then my parents complain Im now playing my music too loud.
Third month (Ive fast foward a two months because well it was the same thing). Now its January Im having school problems my grades slipped drasticly! (Dont worry I pulled up all my grades I wasnt the ipod fault Im dislisex but I could write very well put together paragraphs). Now report cards came in and my parents saw two F's so I was banned from my xbox and iPod well I lived since I got them back like after 6 months. So during that time my iPod sat in its original casing protected from everything to not damage it.
Fast forwarding six months now. Now its June 14 Ive got my iPod I was so happy again. I recharged it and started doing what I usually do when Im not on my computer. Ive stopped using my blutooth speakers and rover becuase I got board of them after a few months. I learned that having my brightness all the way up is bad for battery life and wifi and blutooth is also bad for battery life. I turned down my brightness to 25% with auto brightness on. Wifi and Bluttoth are only on when I want them on. I forgot this but here it is around November to December I had to keep charging it every night. But ive noticed the battery life is now from 3-4 hours.
Now its July for me and I just came home from summer school. I was inclass when I noticed that I get about 3 hours of battery life. When I mean battery life I mean doing all those stuff constatly especially games like hill climb zombie ville coin dozer yeah you know 2d games that require less power to run. I was wondering since im getting such horrible battry life like sometimes I have to charge my iPod during the day to keep up with my daily life. I was wondering should I take it in to Apple store to get a replacement before my warranty expires. I have about 50 days left or something like to make sure I got this iPod for my Birthday but my mom wouldnt let me use it for a week when I got it. I also fogot to say that my dad bought it off amazon from the Apple store so it was shipped here.
When I bring it in could i just tell them what I told you and recieve a new iPod with out paying some kind of fee because it would be a huge pain in the A** to spend $300 for a new one which I dont have that kind of money for because well guess i could say safely im poor I cant even afford a hundred dollar fixie from target I really want to get it but dont have the money for it right now. If I could bring it in to the store without paying a fee then im head there this Friday that leaves me four days.

Also I just remember I bought this Gorilla screen protector will I have to peal it off or they just replace it for me because I bought this at the mall where they put it on for me. I really don’t want to have to spend more money then I already have since I bought a $30 cassette case it really nice and makes it look like an iPhone. My friends ask me is it iPhone 4 or 4s.

Ipod touch 1st generation, having trouble getting apps on it.

i just got my 8gb touch 1st generation for christmas and i bought 2 applications to download onto my ipod. i'm not sure how to get it on there. Help!!

First, set iTunes to show your applications. On the menu bar, click "Edit>Preferences..." and check the "Applications" box.
Second, make sure your apps are downloaded. On the menu bar, click "Store>Check for available downloads..."
Third, update the iPod touch's firmware if you haven't already. Plug it in to iTunes, click on it in the left pane, and click the "Update" button.
Fourth, click the "Applications" tab on the right side of the screen. Check the "All applications" box, then click the "Apply" button on the bottom right.
Fifth, sync (click the "Sync" button on the bottom right.)
Sixth, eject (click the eject button next to your iPod's name, and, once your iPod says "OK to Disconnect" or the main menu, unplug it or undock it.)

My ipod touch 4G is having several problems, how could that be ?

Look guys, my ipod touch 4G's seems to be a lot weaker than its friends. There were a lot of lags even after restoring (I haven't jailbroken it yet). And even a lot of wierd problems.
Here's a list of where these problems took place :
Lagging after slide to unlock, where I can't input anything (tap/slide) for about 5 secs on the homescreen
Lagging when playing graphic intensive games (but on my friend's ipod touch 4G, it was OK) such as Dead Trigger
Severe lagging when pressing home button after using CPU intensive application
Home button always reacts about 2-3 secs late even when I'm at the homescreen
Severe battery shortage, 4 hours to watch video on 1/4 brightness and muted speaker (i hear the sound through headphone)
Back of the ipod touch always warm even when unused (no background apps)
Tried to get the ipod touch to ASP but warranty revoked since I can't prove its possession by registering the product to my AppleID
I thought it was a problem with iOS 5.1.1 (preinstalled to the ipod touch), and I found out that it was supposed to be pre-installed to iOS 5.0.1
I don't know if it had any other problem although I'm still trying to look for those other problems. I asked on other non-apple authorized websites, and responds were negative as if I were conned for buying this used ipod as a new retail unit.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

First get another cable. That error message is likely due to a bad cable. Then if necessary
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

How to fix iPod Touch 4G iOS 6.1.6 lagging issues?

My iPod touch 4g running ios 6.1.6 has been lagging for a while and now I just can't stand it anymore. When I type, the keyboard often takes a long time to update to my taps. All of my games, especially Pixel Gun 3D tend to lag horribly and eventually crash when I tap a button while something currently is frozen end less loading. Even Flappy Bird lags and it makes it even more frustrating to play! Rebooting the device / restoring doesnt help at all. Pls someone help!

I have a 16g Ipod touch, I was having problems syncing so I restored my Ipod, and i am still having the same problem. I am also getting an error messge (Ipod can not sync error message13001). Can you please tell me what I can do?

I am using the latest Ipod Touch but since having to get my laptop reformated my ipod is no longer bakcing up automatically. I downloaded itunes again and plugged in my ipod but have since noticed there is no automatic backup. I check the edit settings.

Ipod touch is no longer compatible with Gear Box??

I turned on Gear Box with Ipod touch attached and having been avoiding update notifications, decided to go ahead and let it update ios 5 thingy. Once updated via my laptop connection I put it back in the slot on the gear box and now I get a message on the Ipod that Gear Box no longer recognizes Ipod Touch. Tried it a few times, but just won't work. The Ipod works on the battery only. And of course it happened on Sat night so no support via phone. Any help will be appreciate.

Thanks to Gear 4, not the Apple phone support, my Ipod touch is now working with Gear box. You have to do a hard reset once or twice and then turn the Gear 4 system on, turn your Ipod touch on to music, and insert it into the dock. It should work then. If not, I suggest you contact Gear 4.

ITunes and App store keep crashing on my ipod touch 4g after updating to ios 6 from ios 5.1.1

Can some one please help me? So i have an iPod Touch 4G 8GB! it was working 100% on ios 5.1.1, then i updated to ios 6 and the app store and itunes keep crashing on my ipod. Even some apps like instagram keep crashing and the ipod is very slow. i know it has the A4 processor and now its a bit slow but i dont know what to do????? i have restored my ipod and then ugraded it to ios 6 agian, i have restared it, closed all the apps in multiasking and other thngs that people have sugested but it still didnt fix things !!!!!!!! i have done some reserch and other ipod touch users are having te same problem. if any one has an idears or knows how to get back to ios 5.1.1 again with out shsh blobs ( as i have not jailbroke my ipod) PLEASE HELP ME????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
