My ipod touch 4g just went to a white screen. ive tried home and sleep buttons but most of the time it takes a screenshot please help me what do i do
i cant seem to get it into dfu mode and. and on top of that its locked and there is no possible way of me getting the passcode

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

ok, so heres my problem . I have this ipod touch 4g and i was updating it to the newst version and the screen turned white i tried connecting it to the computer and nothing i pressed the home and main button but still nothing i dont want to pull it apart or anything but please help what do i do

For what reason, other than making yourself look foolish, would you ask questions that we users could not possibly answer as we're NOT Apple?
Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW. Nothing more "ingenius" to suggest than these steps that Apple has outlined in the manual. If these steps don't work, then go back to the Apple store. -
Just recently, I have encountered a problem with my iPhone. When someone calls, I can clearly hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear me speak. Sometimes the problem is nt there and works properly, but most of the times, I am facing this problem. I have tried plugging in the earphone and speak, but its the same.... can anyone advse what may be the problem?

Have yu tried the standard fixes:
- Resetting:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPOd via iTunes. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem -

i have a white screen and i tried rebooting the ipod touch by holding the home and sleep button simoltaneously but it still jus tappears white. i also attempted to connect my ipod to itunes but my itunes wont even recognize my ipod touch 4g. What should I do now?
Just let the battery drain until the screen shuts off. When you charge it back up it should boot up normally.

on my itunes library my albums are all sorted but when i put onto my ipod touch (4th Gen) it seems to duplicate i have checked everything and there are no spaces in the information my question is how do isort it because these things drive me mad i would be most gratefully if you could find a way to help
thatnksNever mind, got it to work. I stumbled around on Google for a while and somehow ended up reading things from the 'jailbroken' community. They had easy instructions to get out of Recovery mode. Thanks anyway though!
P.S. For anyone who experiences this, here is the fix: Hold Power and Home in unison for 6 seconds, then power on as normal. -

I recentally had dropped my ipod touch and when i picked it up it was stuck on the white screen of death. I tried to hard restart by holding down the power and home button at the same time, but the screen would only turn off then come right back on. Then i let the power drain. After it would no longer turn on i put it on the charger to find that the white screen would pop right back up. I didnt want to restore it but because its my only option i put it on my compute but itunes couldnt acess it because i had a passcode on it. is there a differnt way to restore it or fix it? HELLLPPP MEEEE!
