So i bought a replacement. But i thought i had everything. I only had the screen and digitizer. So i bought the lcd part. I am wondering does it click together or do you need adhesive.

So I dropped it... And the screen cracked a bit. It's fairly new (got it in November) but I noticed Apple doesn't cover accidents like mine. Anyone know the prices for getting a replacement/ repair? It's not that bad of a crack, but it's annoying and new so..Yah. Any help with prices for a replacement/warranty would be helpful and on how I should do it. Maybe I can get a replacement for cheap or free cuz I got it recently and I've never complained to Apple before? I know it's my mistake but I'd be thankful if you guys could help! Thanks!
Sorry, but the warranty does not cover accidental damage no matter how recently you got your iPod. As to servicing, Apple does not repair iPods, but will replace the entire iPod for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". It is also possible to purchase parts and find instructions on doing a repair yourself, though it's not particularly easy. Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop or perform a repair yourself, all further support from Apple will be void.

today in the morning at 10 i did the ios 6 but when it did the ios it froze so i turned of from the top button and the menu button and when i turned back on this light blue screen appeared and it wont go away and it wont connect to itunes and i tried restarting it but it did the same thing -.- please help i need it workin!!! and i got it as a christmas present with no garantie or however u spell it.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

You may have to try recovery mode and DFU mode more tha once.
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

i have a jailbroken ipod touch 4g and I dropped it on the ground yeesterday, now it is making random touch screen selections; the upper part of the screen will not recognize any touches at all. please help

Tonight I put the iPod to charge, and when I woke up it cracked the glass.
But IPod gets very hot when I charge it....maybe it was something to do? Or is it a normally?
Can i repaired it under my guarantee? Or is it hopeless? =((((
P.s. Sorry for my bad english.Yesterday I called the number of service centers, almost everywhere I've been told that this is not a warranty repair and only one, that it is possible to do it under warranty. I went there and they told me said that may happen. And they'll get me new IPOD, but I don't know when.....maybe some weeks

My iPod touch 8GB screen has been cracked. It is still under the Wal-Mart 2 year extended warranty, but I really want 5th generation! Any way to get it replaced then return it for money back or even get a discount on it??
Apple will only give you a 10% discount if you turn that one in and purchase the new one.
I do not know if the WalMart warranty covers accidental damage like a broken screen. -
Ipod touch 4gen black screen but i tune detects it???
my ipod touch 4gen has black screen and nothing shows up. but when i connect it to itune, itune detects it and i can play song. i tried reseting manually and through itune but nothing comes on the screen. does anybocy know whether its a problem with motherboard? what should i do?
Try restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. If the iPod still has the problem you likely have a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genours Bar of an Apple store is in order. You can also contact AppleCare under your warranty.
