My ipod touch(4th gen) just recently had the iOS 5 update.bu for some reason about 80% of my music collection appears with no album artwork and doesnt play any songs.basically it has my music on their but wont let me access it? please help!

I forgot my passcode to my ipod so i went to restore it. When it said if i waned to restore and update that was my only option. So now i clicked that and my ipod will not leave this screen. No matter what i do. I even tried literally every step such as: the DFU mode, reinstalling itunes and the apple mobile device support, hard resetting my ipod and so many things, yet they all dont seem to help. What can i do to fix this ipod.

My ipod touch 4th gen is stuck at the ipod logo for a long time, and i know about the recovery state process, but i can't do that because my power button doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to fix this? this is really annoying and it takes a loooooooooong time to turn on.

Ok so, im trying to update my ipod 4th generation on 4.3.5 iOS To iOS 6 But it wont work. When i am in itunes it says Itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet. Please check your internet connection and try again. BUT I AM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET FOR SURE. I Dont have it blocked on my firewall or anything as far as i know and i think i have the latest version of itunes but i am downloading it again to be sure as of now. I dont know what to do. My ipod touch (4th gen) won't display the photos that i synced?

i've tried deleting the ipod photo cache folder, restarted my ipod, and no..no errors pop up while syncing.
it just finishes syncing the selected photos that i want to sync, and when i check my ipod, it's not there.
yes the photos are compatible.
i don't think it has to do with the software version because i did not have this problem a few days ago.

It seems most games over 100 meg will boot through the developers segway and then flash back to the home screen. Has anyone else experienced this?
IT also seems to have slowed down considerately!

You can only sync with one computer. I would backup to one computer and then restore from backup.

I have an ipod touch 4th gen 8gb memory. The highest amount of songs stored on it has been 1085, yet it is supposed to hold up to 1750. How?

You would have to have songs with smaller file sizes.
Reduce the quality of the files and you can save some room.

My ipod touch 3rd gen freezes when using the itunes app looking for podcasts

When looking at podcasts with my Ipod touch's itunes app, when i attempt to download podcasts from the nerdist podcast, the itunes app freezes and shuts me out for a minute or two. This only happens on some podcasts but not all.

Okay so, with some patience and some tinkering... It appears to be a problem with the most popular podcasts. Maybe something to do with so many people downloading it at the same time? Anyway, I've found you just have to wait it out. Keep your itouch active and from going to sleep and eventually it will load the podcasts and you will be able to download them. On average it takes me anywhere from 2 to 8 minutes to get my most popular podcasts, I just keep it on the screen and keep it from going to sleep

Ipod Touch 5th gen won't sync after iOS update

iPod Touch will not sync after iOS 7 update. It's stucked at "changes are being applied" and won't go past that point. Tried 5 times and got the same problem. I have the latest iTunes installed.
Any suggestions?

Try a cold reboot of your phone / iPod. I.e. hold power + home button until it reboots.

While the music app is on, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the red slide to power off things comes. Without sliding the bar, press and hold the home button until the app quits.
Also clear the music app from multitasking-bar too. You may then try playing music.
