My iPod Touch 4th Generation finished updating and now it won't turn on. the charge finishes, and when plugged in, it goes to a blue then white screen. and i cant do anything. also wont connect to iTunes. pls help

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am trying to configure some new unsupervised iPod touch 4th generation using Apple Configurator but it won't give me the option to install the app that appears on the Apps tab. I have tested the to see whether it works in supervised mode and it does but in Prepare mode it won't let me tick the box.

just bought a new iphone4 and was loading os6 and now it won't turn on. the apple glows like it is starting up, then the screen goes black and then repeats the same process over and over. i have tried to reboot multiple times now
I am assuming the phone was working prior to you installing IOS 6? Did you use itunes to install IOS 6 or just run from the phone?
When I tried to do the Over The Air update to IOS6 on my iPhone 4, it errored out and I had to connect it to iTunes and select "Restore" from the summary screen after iTunes finds the phone is connected. If this works for you, it will go through a couple of reboots that take a few minutes to complete. It should then give you the option to start with a fresh new phone or to use one of your previous backups to load your contacts and other information, provided you have backed up the phone previously.

Error after Ipod Touch 4th Generation iOS6 Update
I went to update my Ipod Touch 4th Generation to the new software, and when it finished, it was put in Recovery Mode.
I plugged it into itunes like it says.
Then I tried restoring it like it suggests, but as it was restoring, there was an unknown error message (3194).
My ipod is only a couple months old. I do not know how to fix this. The update ruined my ipod touch!3194-How do I reset the hosts file back to the default?

Charging problem on iPod touch 4th generation after updating to iOS 5.1.1
I updated my iOS to 5.1.1 yesterday when I synced some new music onto my iPod touch 4th gen. It worked fine, and charged fine yesterda after the update. I had it plugged in charging until I left, I used it and it die over night. When I went to charge it, it kept coming up with "Charging is not supported with this acsessory" wether it was in the wall, or plugged into my computer. As most windows users will know, when you plug yout iPod into the USb port of the computer it comes up with the Scanner and Camera wizzard. I generally close this, but with my curiosity, I let it stay open (without running the wizzard) and now my iPod is charging from ym computer, as long as this is open. Why does the scanner and camera wizzard need to be open for it to charge? Is there a fix for this? I've seen symillar problems on other iOS devices after upgradign to 5.1.1, so could this problem be because of the iOS update?

My daughters iPod touch 4th gen is STUCK. Somehow it was disabled because of too many password attempts (my younger daughter was pushing numbers). I connected it to iTunes, did the press and hold power button + home button, then let go of sleep button. iTunes recognized it, gave me the option to restore it and did its thing. Here's the problem, now it won't GET OUT of that mode. After the first attempt, it wouldn't power on after I disconnected it from the computer. So I hooked it up again, and it says its detected an iPod in recovery mode and offers me the same "update & restore" option it did originally. Now what??? Please help. after a lot of trying and contacting the Apple support in the netherlands...... it is recognized by iTunes and iPod updater. it look like it works but it is not possible to disconnect the iPod. I'll tryed the hard way, and have the next problem; the display of my iPod sign up with the Apple-logo and map-attention, the hard disc is working and
it is not possible to reset the iPod. also read and tryed the the next issue

You can't disable FaceTime remotely. If you activated Find my iPhone in the device, go to iCloud and Find my iPhone. You can block or erase your iPod if it's connected to Wi-Fi, but you won't be able to track it -
My Magsafe adapter blew while charging and now Macbook won't turn on or charge?
My macbook was completely dead (we just got back from vacation). I plugged it in to charge it with my Magsafe L adapter (that came with my macbook) and turned my macbook on. Within 20 minutes (it was around 40% charged at that point I believe), I heard a "pop" and the computer shut off. Completely. No warning. I felt the L shape and it was HOT. I immediately unplugged the adapter from the wall and the box was just as hot if not hotter. The 2 pronged plug has burn looking marks on the metal, which leads me to believe it blew and is dead. Now my macbook won't turn on. I tried a few troubleshooting things (control-command-power button for 3 seconds and shift-option-p-r-power button) and there was no response.
Am I screwed? Will I even be able to get anything off my macbook?
I purchased it in 2009ish if that helps.If you are in the US or Canada, you could make a Genius appointment
at an Apple Store for a diagnostic check of the computer to see if the
DC-in board (or magsafe board) is still OK.
Or if it was toasted from the power surge or failure of the adapter. If
so, then it would need a service for replacement. Troubleshooting
the charging system may well extend to checking the rest of the
computer hardware, as so much is integrated.
There may be some ideas on repair questions in an appropriate
iFixit guide for MacBooks, online at their site. Not sure if there is
a guide for those power adapters, but had read where repairs had
been attempted by individuals several years ago, posted online.
Hopefully you can reconcile your differences with the MacBook.

I downloaded a book app onto my phone, after trying to use it, it froze and the home button wouldn't work, so me being the idiot that I am decided that maybe if I locked it, it would work.. it didn't and so the phone went black, but it would still ring and play music (although I couldn't answer), and then once my music stopped playing, I couldn't turn it back on. Now, my phone has finally died and has been charging for about an hour, via the wall and now via the computer and it still hasn't turned on. Any suggestions?

Connect the the iPod to your syncing computer and update via iTunes. Make sure all the synced media like apps and music are in your iTunes library since they are not included in the backup that iTunes makes.
Backup your iTunes library just in case too.

The installers use water to get the air bubbles out of the film. Looks like they got a little heavy handed with yours. You warranty is now voided (there are moisture indicators in the phone). You will need the screen protector people to replace your phone.
Since they will likely decline, if you are in the US, threaten to file a claim on their insurance for damaging your property in thier control. -
