never mind i guess the answer lies with itunes lol, the categories only include summary, apps, music, movies, tv shows, photos, and info...books aren't included with her ipod touch..thanks anyways

Use your computer's backup to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link, or do the same with both computers networked in some fashion, which shouldn't be hard to do if both computers are connected to the same wireless network.

I'm going from having an iMac with 10.4.11 to a MacBook Pro with 10.6.4 - and I've upgraded my iPhone 3G with a 4.
I cannot sync my new phone with the old computer (where all the apps, my calendar) due to the old operating system.
I have managed to transfer my music, photos, calendar & contacts - now how do I get all my apps over there, too? (purchased & otherwise ....)
I found the app folder under User-Music-iTunes-MobileApplications on the old computer and tried copying onto my new computer, but maybe I'm not putting it in the right place - and those are only some of my apps - is there an easier way?You can transfer them from the old iphone. You can use migration assistant to move everything over.

I am getting a new iphone (5s) and number, and want to try and keep my apps, and chat history from my current phone (5).
What is the best way of doing this? I have backed my phone on i cloud and also on i tunes.
Any advice would be appreciated!Restore the new device from a backup of the old one. Apps are based on your Apple ID, so don't change that too, like you did the phone number. The phone number change will not affect the backup, you just connect the phone to activate and select use backup from the old phone.

Today my iPod touch 4 generation was dropped. now it just has a white screen. i tried reseting it by clicking the home and lock buttons but nothing helped. what is my problem and how do i fix it?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

Also, if she sells her old one, would the new owner have access to account/bank details?You can transfer iTunes purchases from the old iPod to your computer then sync the new iPod.
Connect the old iPod, launch iTunes. From the menu bar click File > Transfer Purchases From
Now connect the new iPod and sync Apps, Music, etc.
As for selling the old one tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
That will erase all personal data from the iPod. -

Why were you never able to sync? You should be reguarly syncing

I put a Griffin case on my daughter's iPod Touch 5 and now there is no sound coming from the speaker. There is sound when we use the headphones. Is there a mute function that I may have switched on and if so how do I turn it off?

My old PC broke, it was the only pc my classic was sync with. New PC only shows 1 song (recent purchase) so am worried about syncing to new PC in case I lose the list on my iPod, which is still intacted. How can I transfer my list to new PC?
I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?
