My iPod touch goes black when I try to use FaceTime. Can anyone help.x

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>FaceTime and sign out and then sign back in
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Mines been doing it for at least 6 months.Support had me do a reset and when that didnt work,they convinced me to update to version 11.That was a waste of time... Even if I open the App Store with nothing but basic utilitys loaded on my iPad,the App Store closes/crashes for no "Obvious" reason.However internal diagnostics show the cause is that the App Store is overloading the iPads processor.I have tons of memory on my iPad (64GB) but apparently the newer versions of the iTunes App Store are overloading it, (Even in a stripped down state).
Solution? I have never gotten any helpfull answers from support in nearly 6 months.So, other than reverting to an even earler version of iTunes (Pre version 10.7 at least for me),or using something like the "Apple Sliced "App... Most of them are free,and have a few good features, but all that I've tried are are less usefull for doing App searches.
It was a real shock to me ,when support claimed it had never heard about this issue before.These forums would indicate differently.It seems really stupid to design a basic utility, that a fair number of customers wont be able to use, and recieve no warning before encouraging us to install it..

I installed twitter but now receive a message " protected tweets " when I try and use twitter can anyone help. I have reinstalled it twice now with same results

CORRECTION:
I installed the Twitter application on my ipod, the newest ipod, I believe its the 5th generation, with the iOS 5.0.1 and everytime I open the app, where my timeline should be it just says "Protected Tweets" and whenever I try to compose a tweet it says "Error posting message. There was an error posting your tweet. It has been saved as a draft, please try resending later. (Error:unauthorized)" Can anyone help me out ?

Go into the iPad settings app and check your settings for twitter. I found that my password was short one character for some reason.

IPod G5 froze, can anyone help with a fix?

My iPod G5 froze today with the screen and backlight still on. When I try to reset it (pressing menu and play), it does nothing, but the buttons still click like they should. Any suggestions?

Hey there,
Have you tried hooking the iPod up to your computer? If you can do that, it may be a good idea to restore the iPod, but only if you have everything on your iPod backed up somewhere safely because restoring it will return the iPod to its original default settings. If that doesn't work, you could always just let the battery die and then you should be able to hook it up to your computer. Hope this helps. Also, make sure you have tried all of Apple's 5 Rs which can be found below.

an "itunes has encountered a problem ..." message on launch citing that offset is almost invariably caused by a broken QuickTime. (itunes needs a fully functional QT in order to work properly.)
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly? or do you get an error message, or some other peculiar behavior, or find that it isn’t on your PC at all?
if you get an error message (or peculiar behavior, or find that it’s missing), the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?

All my videos downloaded from Itunes will no longer play. I can hear the sound from them however, the screen goes bright green and begins to flash. Can anyone help with this problem.

Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
          1.          Start up in Safe Mode.
          2.          From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
          3.          Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
          4.          Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
          5.          Restart your computer.

Why won't it let you sync? What happens when you try to sync it? Any error messages from iTunes? How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? In other words, what options do you have selected from under the iPod's Music tab in iTunes? To access this tab, plug your iPod in, select it under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes, and over to the right locate and select the Music tab along the top.
Or are you trying to manually manage your iPod's contents? In other words, is the Manually manage music and videos option enabled from under the iPod's Summary tab?

The only way is to connect the iPod to a computer with has an internet connection and iTunes and restore the iPod. Use as friiend's computer or make an appointment at ther Geniuds Bar of an Apple store.

This sounds like an Apple ID problem. Do each of you have your own Apple IDs? Are they each properly set on each phone? You might try logging out of Facetime and iMessage, then logging back in. This often fixes connectivity issues.
