My 4s has turned off and will not turn on I have had in the OTTER CASE , What can I do to turn it back on

Do as it says and restore your phone at this point there is no data on your phone.  If you have a backup of your phone you can restore to that backup.

I have an iphone and i was sending a multimedia message and all of a sudden the phone turned off and will not turn back on. We have been charging it for almost half an hour or more and it still hasn't turned on. How do we fix it?

Wine, were you charging over the USB Connection or AC Power?  We've found in our organization that at times not enough power is generated over USB to recharge it in situations like this...I quote from the email of a fellow technician that i just received today...
I’ve had a couple of users up here bring their iPhones to me so dead that the phone was unresponsive, no matter what we did. One thing that many people do not realize is that the iPhone (iOS devices in general) have power management in them. The power management appears to be set up so that the device will not power on at all until the battery is at a certain minimum level. If the user will plug the device into the power adapter, not a USB port on a computer (laptops especially), and leave it for about an hour, maybe longer, the device will come back to life.
The reason I say they have to use the power adapter is because the USB port is not high enough power to bring the charge up fast enough for the battery to come back out of “hibernation”.
Each time I have had the users do the power adapter plug in, and leave it for a couple of hours, the devices have come back to life
    Hope this helps

  • My second gen iPod touch has a blank screen, and won't turn on or charge in an AC outlet. When plugged into iTunes, it is completely recognized and synced, but the screen remains blank and off. What can I do?

    Hello.
I recently woke up this morning to use my iPod Touch (2nd Gen) to find that it was completely unresponsive to both buttons and would not turn on. I had been using it the night before and had not charged it. Thinking the battery was drained, I plugged it into a wall outlet for two hours, and still no sign of life on the iPod. Plugging it into the computer, it immediately showed up in iTunes and synced normally, and even indicated it had nearly a full charge. Still, however, the screen showed nothing. I checked the lock and home buttons to see if it was stuck, but it was not. Does anyone have an idea of what this is? Do I need to get my iPod repaired? Any help would be appreciated.
I am running iOS 4.1, and am out of warranty coverage.
    Thanks,
    - Justin

1; Do a hard rest by holding the buttons at least 15 seconds. Does the Apple logo come on?
    2. Hold the power button down for at least 5 seconds. Do you see the battery symbol?
If the answer is no to both questions, you most likely have a hardware issue--possible bad battery.

  • My iPad only has a blank screen, it will not open at all. I tried to restore and that did nothing. I am not sure how to proceed. It is charged.

My iPad only has a blank screen. If you press the two buttons to try to get it to restart all you get is a faint light for al few seconds and then it goes back to a black screen. I did try to restore by hooking up to my mac, but I still have nothing.

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Hold those buttons a long time before letting them go. Also it might be best to leave the iPad on the charger overnight before resetting it.
If this doesn't work, it's time to make an appointment at an Apple store for a Consultation.

  • My Ipod touch 5 Ios 8.1.2 will not turn on

This question has been asked before ut my case is different.
I have had my Ipod since June 2013 and it has been working Ok for the year and a half I have owned it.
About five days ago I clicked the home button and I got an odd click, and from then on I would need to press the home button very hard in order for it to work. the lock button still wortked fine, so I turned on assistive touch.
Latlely (the past two weeks) my Ipod has blanked out and I would have to restart it again by holding down the home button and the sleep button for ten seconds to turn it back on.
Today I set it down, it was working fine nothing out of the ordinary, I walk away and when I come back maybe 20 minutes later it won't turn on. I try to do a full restart (which is tough because of the home button being damaged) and it doesnt turn on. I plug it into the computer and it won't turn on, the computer doesn't even reconize it. I have tried to put it into rwcovery mode, but nothing is happeneing.
    Please help!
    Thanks.

To put your device into recovery mode, follow these steps:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see this screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore your device. Restoring in recovery mode will erase your device. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup.

  • My ipod touch has a white screen

my ipod touch has a blank screen. It won't do anything. How do I fix it?

Frequently a white screen is due to a hardware problem and service is necessary.  It appears that Apple confirmed the hadware issue.
Apple will exchange it for this price:

  • My ipod 4g has a frozen white screen and will not turn off, any advice?

My daughter's ipod 4th gen (only 4 months old, bought direct from Apple) suddenly has a frozen white screen and will not turn off. We cannot reboot it by pushing and holding the two buttons, even when held up to one full minute. When we plug it into the computer, the computer does not recognise it nor does iTunes, so we can't even do a full system restore. Help! Any suggestions of how we can reset to factory settings without using iTunes please?

    - Let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try :
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • My iPhone 4G died and will not turn on with hard reset.

My iPhone 4G died and will not turn back on. I got an e-mail and then took a phone call. After ending the call I went to text, but nothing. Screen was black with no warning. I plugged it up on a charger and nothing. I tried a soft rest and a hard reset and still nothing. I have it plugged up to my computer and without it coming on it will not recognize it on iTunes to do a restore. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Is this fixable or should I write it off and replace the phone? It is 1yr and 1 month old.
    Thanks,

  • Droid 2 Global Shut down and will not turn back on

My D2G shut down earlier today and will not turn back on. I was listening to music and it shut down in the middle of playing.  If i plug it into a charger at first it does nothing (the charging light doesn't even come on), then after a while the backlight will come on, but nothing else happens. I have tried removing the battery. I've tried charging the phone for a few hours (in case the battery was dead) and still it will not power on.  I don't even see the "M" logo screen when i try to power on.
    Anybody have any ideas?

That's very upsetting when the device will not power on. It maybe hardware related so we may need to look at your replacement options. Is there any corrosion where the battery and device connect? Please try the alternative hard reset This will factory reset the device. Please make sure contacts are backed up prior to resetting. If you are still experiencing this issue please PM me and I will gladly further troubleshoot with you.
    Thank you
