my ipod touch is 3 months old i tried to plug the charger cable in yesterday and it would not plug in.Now it plugs in but struggles to charge will apple replace this for me? is it under warranty as it is only 3 months old?
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and find out. Usually Apple says that damage is caused by operator erro/misuse and thus not covered by warranty

I placed an order for a 16GB iPod touch back in October 2007 all was fine but ive been having loads of problems some movies go all blurry and like crazy all is fine when i restart it, also freezes a lot and times out in itunes should i ask for a replacement ?An apple store would need you to go to the genius bar so they can try to troubleshoot it first. You'd need an appointment so you don't waste your time for them to send you home. To make an appointment go to www.apple.com/retail then find your store and click reserve under the genius bar section. Past that you could also phone 1 800 APL CARE and have them troubleshoot it for you as well, they can also repair/replace it for you if it needs. Still you haven't said what problems it's having. Have you restored and setup as a new ipod or have you gone to the backup each time? Is it a problem with certain content like videos or music, if so is it the same file each time? What's going on?

I bought an iPod Touch from a friend with warranty. I mainly use it for games and videos but it takes up to much space. Is it possible if i give my iPod to Apple and pay a little extra, would i be able to recieve a 32gb model of the same generation?
No, Apple does not take back used devices, you'll have to sell it by yourself and buy a new ipod after you have sold your old one.

So I know that If you get your battery replacement (within warranty) an apple store will give you a refurbished model of your old iPod, but what if I want to change the color from the one I have now (white) to a new color (black) is that allowed? Or do I have to get the same exact model as my previous one? Also does the same principle apply in China as it does in the US, or not?

My oldest daughter recently bought a new ipod touch and gave her old one to her brother. How do I unlink his ipod from her account and set up his own without losing the music and apps already on it?
Connect it to his iTunes library and set it up as a new device. You should be prompted to Erase and Sync the iPod if his iTunes library is separate from hers.
Or head to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all Content and Settings.

My 4th gen ipod touch is 6 mos old. Tried to turn on today and nothing. Plugged into computer held down sleep/wake button and plugged into computer with usb. Nothing. It has not been dropped or bumped. It has been stored as I don't use it often only to play music on spotify thru internet. I probably haven't used this ipod more than 20 times. Any suggestions?

I just purchased a new ipod touch to replace my old ipod touch. The reason I bought a new one is I wanted one that had the icloud that I could sync to my ipad and iphone. I am going to give my old one to my husband. I plugged my new ipod touch into my computer and put my musice library on it. I then tried to clear my old ipod touch. I went to General Settings and told it that I wanted to clear the ipod touch. It went thru a few things and then it said to plug it into itunes. I do not understand why? On my itunes it does not list two ipod touch's on there as devices, so I am scared it I plug the new one into itunes it will clear both. Please help!

Just connect your iPod to your computer, let iTunes come up, and then select Restore to Factory Settings. This will clear off every thing and install the current version of iOS for that generation. You can name the device and then set up iTunes to synch the items you choose.
If you have more than one computer, let hubby set up his own iTunes account and Apple ID so you don't get your stuff mixed up. -

My daughter is 7 and I don't allow her to download anything on her iPod touch. I have to put in my password for anything to be downloaded. Recently when putting in my password, I am being ask to enter in an additional email address for verification purposes. I need to know why this is. I have 1 email address that I use and don't see a reason to create a additional email address.
