My ipod touch is frozen on the itunes plug in screen. what should i do?

it will turn off. and i can reset it. but it still just goes right back to the same screen. it doesn't even show up on itunes when i plug it in.
i'm really upset, this ipod in my LIFE.

ps, it's a ipod touch 4g.

Try turning it back on and holding the power and home button at the same for 15 seconds time while plugged in to the computer then open up itunes. It shound say ipod in recovery mode push ok and restore it.
