My Ipod touch is stuck at the apple logo and keeps restarting.
Hi, so I hard restarted my Ipod and when turning it back on, it gets stuck on the apple logo. I then tried to restore it but it said could not restore ipod due to an error, so i fully whipped it so it would be new but i still have the problem. 3rd gen ipod touch. Thankyou!
Then unfortunately, your decisison to jailbreak has caused this error and cannot receive help on this forum. We can only provide help if you wish to unjailbreak.

my ipod touch is stuck on the apple logo and i cant reset it as my home button is broken what else can i try?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Ignore the reset and when it says place the iPod in recovery mode
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:
For PC
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
or

If necessary:
Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
and
RecBoot tip
RecBoot may have problems on 64X windows, then try:
Tenorshare ReiBoot – Enter & Exit iPhone, iPad, iPod Recovery Mode with a Single Click
For MAC or PC
The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
Installs blootware on PC too
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPhone is stuck on the apple logo and keeps restarting itself
HELP!!!!
Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem restore with your backup. Start Here
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -

What happens when you try to connect it to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode? See this article for steps on how to put your iPod Touch into recovery mode. Don't be afraid to try this more than once.

Have you tried a hard reset yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. You may need to try this more than once.
Any luck there?

My ipod touch is stuck in the apple logo, what should I do?
My ipod touch 4G, iOS 4.2.1, is stuck in the apple logo, and it turns on and off alone, but it is still in the logo, it doesn't proceed. This happened because I restored through the ipod not iTunes. Itunes doesn't find the Ipod, even though if I wait a long time. What should I do?
Hi,
Try resetting your iPod: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430.
Hope this helps!
