Trying to update ipod touch stopped working tried to reset it and the screen turnes white after apple logo comes up how do i solve it

I was trying to update my iopd touch when it stopped so i reset it and now when it goes on the screen turnes white

Without it, you would have to wait until the battery dies and then plug it in to try and reset it. The Home button is used for several user troubleshooting steps. Without it, you cannot perform a reset, put the device into recovery mode, or place it in DFU mode. You need to get the home button repaired.

I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

I attempted to get original settings through settings menu, but unfortunately while resuming when I typed a pass code the touch gesture , without control it typed unknown passcode and while confirming the passcode as well same thing happened.
Now my Iapd2 is disabled and itunes also not recognizing my ipad.
