My iPod Touch keeps saying "Failed to connect to "(Network name here)".
My Wi-Fi works on every other device except my iPod Toouch. My Wi-Fi is ON on my iPod, it still can't connect even if I'm literally 5 feet away, I've reset my internet plenty of times, I've turned my iPod off and on twice, my Wi-Fi works on every other Wi-Fi enabled device, my iPod isn't blocked by my router, and I've pretty much tried everything! I have absolutely no idea what to do!
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi pwrhuskers,
Try Resetting Network Settings on the iPhone, go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings.
What type of wireless router are you using? What type of security is being used and how many characters are in the network key?
If you are using WEP, you'll want to use a 5 or 13 character key as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1344
This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398 provides other general Wi-Fi troubleshooting tips.

What make, model, version router do you have? -
My Ipod touch 4.2 will say it is connected to the wi fi but when I try and use it with an app it says it is not connected to the internet
- Do other devices successfully connect to the network?
- Did the iPod successfully connect to this network before?
- Does the iPod successfully connect to other networks?
Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

My brand new ipod touch 5 says it is connect to the internet but I can't access anything
I just opened an Ipod touch 5 and it says it is connect to my wireless internet at full strength, but when I try to use an internet based application it doesn't work. I can't connect to anything that needs internet.
The problem could be caused by a firewall in the router. For reasons that I do not understand, that will affect IOS (iPod/iPad) communication but will not affect computers or other devices.
You will need administrative access to the router. If a firewall is present, turn it off and test the iPod again. If it works, turn the firewall back on but weaken it a notch and test the iPod again. Repeat as required. -
unable to download apps to my new ipod touch .. message keeps saying my security code for credit card is not valid...please help
Credit card either isn't supported with the purchase or you typed it wrong.
Or just log out, log back in and type again. Could be a system error. -
IPOD TOUCH KEEPS COMING UP WITH CONNECT USB HAVNT GOT IT GOING YET?
Just got ipod touch am setting it up through windows vista all i get is picture of usb to itunes. have register with itunes but it say ipod is in recovery mode restore click on restore button. can't restore error 1603. how do i get it going?
Hi,
Firstly I'd check that you have a connection to the internet by browsing in Safari.
Secondly check that you are logged in with the correct account information in;
Settings > Store > Account
Hope this helps. -
I click the button to change the sound, and it says I'm connected to headphones, when I'm not, and when I play something, there's no sound, and my Bluetooth is also turned off. I don't know how to get sound!
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.

My iPod touch keeps saying my zip code does not match my bank information and wont let me buy a song
My iPod Touch recently started saying that my zip code did not match my bank information, therefore I can't buy anymore songs. I haven't had any problems buying songs in the past and haven't changed any of the settings or information on my iPod. Does anyone know how to fix this?!?

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
