hi, i purchased my daughter the ipod touch5 she was able to charge it but little by little it stopped charging, we thought it was the charger. so i purchased a new apple charger it would charge the first few days but now it stopped, i tried resetting but the ipod is completely dead and will not charge at all. do i need a new charger or maybe a battery?

The ipod is not a backup/storage device.
You need to copy everything from your old computer to your new one.
The Apple store will do this for you, you can call apple support and they will help you, you can use google. -

My audio files no longer sync to the in the 5d in camera audio. It did when I bought the program but no longer does I reinstalled and it still will not sync the files recorded on the H4N with the Canon 5D Mark II Camera.
The program used to import and transcode the Can 5D footage but no longer does. The program freezes often and looses my projects as well. Last week my 5th generation ipod touch dropped face down onto the ground. When picked up the screen was black and did not turn back on. I tried to connect it to the laptop but it did not recognize the ipod. Also when it is plugged into the laptop the area by the camera gets warm like it is charging. But still has a black screen. I've tried to reset and count to 10, but nothing happends. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Or is it completely dead? Somebody, anybody please help.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

My Ipod touch says i have to connect it to iTunes so i can restore it but it will not restore even after following the steps to fix the problem.

I recently bought some new albums and can't play them on my ipodI just encountered the same problem on my 2 month old MBPro. I found a work around by changing USB ports. As for the actual cause or the reason why that worked, I dont know. The USB port I was using works fine with my phone or other USB devices.

I tried to download an upgrade that was recommended by APPLE, the upgrade stopped halfway through and the iPod Touch was turned off, now the iPod Touch has a BLANK WHITE SCREEN and is UNRESPONSIVE to the COMPUTER

Ok so when i try to charge my ipod touch 1st gen 8 gigs wit the usb it doesnt want too even wit the outlet charger it doesnt want too. its not even recognized by itunes either. i have a ipod classic 120 gigs that one does charge by the outlet and usb and its recognized by itunes. i dont know why my ipod touch doesnt wanna charge or be recognized by itunes whats wrong??? my usb is version 2.0 also.
You can try the troubleshooting here. If that does not work I suggest an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store since you may have a hardwar problem like a dead battery.

What if my 8GB iPod Touch 4th Gen. won't charge and won't keep it's charge?
My iPod Touch 4thGen. 8GB 6.1.3, doesn't charge at all. For the past 2 weeks I've tried different cables/wires, 2 computers, different wall jacks, and my car charger, but to no success... And every time I somehow do manage to get it to charge, it doesn't show a lightning/electricity/zig zag pattern, only a "fully charged" symbol, and a few times don't seem to be charging the battery at all. All it says is "Charging Not Supported With This Accessory."... Like right now it is "charging", with a "fully charged" symbol, but the battery is still red and very thin. I've been charging it for the past 4 hrs. and it's still at less than 20%. What do I do? I bought it last June, and so IDK if the warranty is still useful. It's screen is cracked(since January) and the power button doesn't work at all(since May) so I can't restart it or turn it off. My friend told me to fully drain the battery, so I did. But once I connected and charged it, for around 5 or 6 hours, even then it still had a low battery. What can I do?
