My Ipod Touch's wi-fi isn't working correctly?

So, one day my iTouch' textingapp stops letting me get and send texts. Then I went over to a friend's house and we tried to get on her wifi but she never remembered he password and kept enterring incorrect ones.
Then when I got home, it would connect to my wifi but whenever I would wanna use an app involvig internet it would never work or load, then I tried restoring it and re synching my setings, and it still isn't working.
Help?

This is the standard set of steps to fix most WiFi problems. Probably a bit of overkill in your case, but better to do all of the steps.
1. Reboot your router - unplug the A/C power cord.
2. Reset Network Settings on the touch - tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
3. After the touch restarts, log back into your network by tapping Settings > WiFi > Other and re-entering your network name, security, and network password.
If you continue to have problems, write back with some additional details, error messages, etc.

My iPod touch 5 front camera isn't working, how do I fix it?

My I pod touch 5 front camera isn't working. How can I fix it. I have also already tried to reset it multiple times.

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

How to get rid of switch control on an iPod touch that home button isn't working and wifi is off.

My son has an iPod touch and his home button doesn't work on it. Because the home button didn't work he had the touch button on his screen to navigate through things. Last night he was out, shut his wifi off because there wasn't any wifi to connect too, and was fooling around with his iPod. Somehow he enabled switch control on his iPod, then it shut down and now can't get into it because the touch home button has disappeared, wifi still isn't connected and home button doesn't work.
We tried rebooting it and wiping it remotely, but because there isn't wifi, we can't connect. Also, it's password protected and we can't get into it from the computer because of the switch control.
Please help if you can. He's had it for two years and is feeling pretty down today, it took him a long time to save up and buy it.

My brand new iPod Touch 4th Generation, just isn't functioning correctly.

Recently, I bought a brand new iPod 4th gen. Since, it has gone haywire and refuses to function correctly. It is 16 gb and operating on iOS 6.0.1. On many apps, especially games, it can get really laggy at times, for no discernable reason. I have very few apps installed, and a great internet connection, so I can't understand why that would occur. Also, Safari is absolutely useless. When opened, under any circumstances, It goes to a default white screen:
Then it can do NOTHING else. Upon further inspection, this seems to happen to a couple default apps. Such as:
-Calendar
-Maps
-Mail
After about 20 seconds of blankness, it then force-closes to the home screen. In addition, Game Center has become a pain in the butt; it just won't leave me alone. Anytime I try to open a game with internet capabilities (ie.Vector,The Sandbox, etc.), it pops up wanting me to sign in, yet it wont work. When I try to sign in, it never works the first time. I have to home-screen, then click the app again to open it up to the same page, before it even shows the keyboard, not to mention, at this screen, the keyboard is horizontal (landscape) while the rest of the screen is vertical (portrait). From this point, signing in does nothing, it will bring up the buffering circle and spin for about 10 minutes, before promptly force closing. I can't get out of that screen either, when it comes up asking for my log in, the cancel button becomes absolutely worthless, it does nothing. I've disabled Game Center's notification and changed it's capabilities, but it STILL comes up when I try to eneter a game. The only way around it is to completely TURN OFF my Wi-Fi. Thus rendering a lot of in-game content worthless. Lastly, sometimes the Game Center opens Safari, but since it doesn't do anything, I have no idea what to do. Home-screening does not work, as less than a second later, Safari opens again, and again, and again. The only way to stop this annoying cycle, is to completely SHUT-OFF my iPod.The iPod is only a little over a week old, and it ****** me off that I already want to put it down the disposal.

My front iPod touch 5th gen camera isn't working

It's been like that for several months now. When I used to go on it it would have coloured vertical lines on the screen and now if I try my front camera it would be blurry and freeze. I tried to restore it but it still didn't work it just deleted half my pictures -.-. If I have my warrenty which I think is online cause my ipod didn't come with one . Can I replace my ipod ? I don't have the headphones and charger for it eaither and my ipod has a really small dent on the edge you can barley see it

IPod Touch 4 headphone jack no longer working??

So recently, my ipod touch 4's headphone jack stopped working. As in, I would plug in the headphones, and I would just hear the bass guitar in all the songs and the vocals, drums, beats etc. would be almost muted. And then, I would re-plug in the headphones not all the way through but it would be loosely connected to the ipod. Any slight touch to the headphone would turn the music off. But, it would play the music fine. What am I supposed to do?
These are the same headphones I've been using for the last 5 months and this has never been a problem. Any help would be appreciated.

If the problem is not due to the headphones:
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Check also Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not set all the way to "R".

I woke up the other day and went on my camera and it had stopped working, it won't let me change from the front to back camera so i don't know what the problem is: now all it shows when i go on the camera app is the shutter or a black screen. Same thing here. Try putting the brightness down all the way (its hard to see at first but you will get used to it) and one more thing is that close all you open apps. So to do that you have to click the home button twice (after you put your passcode in) and you will see some apps in the bottom. Hold it until there is a red - sign. click all of them so they go away. This does not delete your apps it just makes your ipod better.
