My iPod Touch says it saved to root directory
hi everyone i am a perfectionist and i like to keep my devices clean so i dont know how to delete a file in the root directory. i was playing with netportal lite and did a quick save on a pdf. it says that it saved to my root directory. what is it and how do i find it?
thanks
Did you go to Finder and click on on your hard disk under Devices. The file should be in the left-hand part, the same place as the Application and other folders in the Root directory.

My ipod touch says that I am connected to the internet through the setting tab but when i try to get on the internet it says no connection. I tried new downloads and updats and connectioning to other wifi in variouse places and still no luck.
- Reset the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset<Reset Network Settings

Maybe here:

Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next would be to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -
My ipod touch says no wifi what can i do to fix it
why does my ipod touch say no wifi
Sounds like this problem.
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
It is frequently a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

I verified my email but ipod touch says not verified, I go to redo and its says already verified but Itunes still shows it needs to be verified. I was in the process of creating a new Apple ID for my touch.
Please go to Settings>Itunes and App Store and log out of your Apple id and right back in again. See if this doesn't resolve this issue.

HT4623 my ipod touch says it is disabled, connect to itunes, what do i do ?
hi, my daughters ipod touch says it is disabled and needs connecting to itunes, what do i need to do, i havent got a clue......?
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -
My new ipod touch say it has been disabled for 21,728,990 minutes. How do i fix that!
You need to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore it via iTunes on yur computer. Restore from backup if you have a backup. For recovery mode see:

my ipod touch says that it is updated. I am running 6.1.3 . Why wont it update to 7?
Lots of things in the world stink. It stinks that my car isn't a hybrid so I'm stuck with lower gas mileage. It stinks that my TV doesn't support 4K movies. It stinks that my printer isn't color. It's what we just have to live with it if we're not willing to purchase new products.

Can anyone help me? my ipod touch says it is connected to wifi, but it won't run anything that uses wifi like safari or itunes, and I don't know how to fix it
You didn't indicate if it ever worked. If it NEVER did, the problem could be caused by a firewall in the router. For reasons that I do not understand, that will affect IOS (iPod/iPad) communication but will not affect computers or other devices.
You will need administrative access to the router. If a firewall is present, turn it off and test the iPod again. If it works, turn the firewall back on but weaken it a notch and test the iPod again. Repeat as required. -
Why does my iPod Touch say that its software is up-to-date when it is still running iOs 6.1.3 and shows no update to iOs 7?
You have a 4th gen ipod touch.
