My ipod touch screen has to push twice
My ipod just keep saying anything that i push , and the screen doesn't roll
You have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see:

My Ipod touch screen has gone white with bright white spots on it. I have restored it and it shows in ITunes but the screen is still white. Is there anything I can do? The warranty has run out so I will have to pay for any repairs (if it can be repaired). Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
If you still have problems after restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod then you very likely have a hardware problem. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

my ipod touch screen has turned bright white. the things are visible but partially and when shift the screen it leaves trails behind. i dont know what to do help please.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod touch screen has some circle marks
My iPod touch 4g has some really small circle marks on the screen. Even if I clean the screen it's still there. What can I do?
They are most likely marks under the LCD, you should take it to an Apple Store and get it replaced. (Since it's Manufacturer Defect)

HT201210 Ipod Touch Screen has nothing on it and cant turn it off.
My son's Ipod Touch has a blue/purple screen and will not respond at all when trying to turn off. The screen is blank and also will not let me restore it on the computer when I try.
Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo. -
IPod Touch screen has gone white with grey lines
I have had my iPod Touch for a year and a half, so unfortunately it is out of warranty. About two months ago it started behaving strangely. Every other time I turned it on there would be a white screen which after a few seconds would get slightly darker with vertical grey lines. The screen was still responsive, and you could hear clicking. Turning the iPod off and back on would resolve the problem and the screen would reappear with no problems at all.
Unfortunately this got worse. Now I am unable to turn the iPod on without getting the white screen with grey lines. The iPod is still responsive. I can plug it into itunes and browse it normally.
I've reset the iPod many times and completely reset it through iTunes with no luck.
Any suggestions? Is this a hardware fault and is it possible to resolve? Or is there something else I can try? Any help would be very appreciated. My old Touch 2G has the same issue. The Apple Store Genius couldn't tell what's the problem. However, I observed that the white grey striped display appears almost every time (or at least far more often) when the iPod lays on a ground. It is fixed by tilting it 90°, so that the dock connector is pointing to the ground.
And sometimes the density of stripes changes by pressing home (no, I don't mean switching from spotlight to first home screen page, because this happens in lock screen, when home button does nothing) or pulling out the dock cable. So I think it's something near the dock connector and home button. Hardware fail, maybe the not so fitting dock cable in the rounded dock connector is the issue. -

My iPod Touch screen has shattered?
The screen on my ipod touch has shattered? htere is nothing on the whole site that says anything about it and there is no one to talk to on the phone. Please help!
Message was edited by: allie brownWelcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about the damage to your iPod. You do not provide any details as to how this happened, although the chances of a spontaneous fracture are fairly slim: there were some cases thought to be exploding screens, but the damage was due to too much pressure. As an owner of the iPod touch and the iPhone, that must have been phenomenal.
If the problem was due to a manufacturing fault, then your warranty (if you have had this for less than 12 months) should take care of this. If not, Apple can repair/replace the screen with a charge. If it is out of warranty, there are places that can replace the screens at a somewhat lower charge.
I would start with the nearest Apple shop if I were you. -
My ipod touch screen has no touch after restoring
My son 's Ipod touch lcoked up yesterday and I tried reseting it. After it was finished the screen no longer responds to touch.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Please help
Is it still charging? If yes, let it charge for about 10min, then connect in recovery mode, explained in this article:
iOS: Unable to update or restore
If this is not working, or the iPod does not charge anymore, you'll have to get it serviced or looked at by visiting an Apple Store next to you:

HELP!!! iPod Touch screen SHATTERED :O
So by the title you have probably figured out the depressing reality I am faced with: My iPod Touch screen has finally shattered into a million pieces :'( It even had a semi-hard case on, but unfortunately for me it landed right on the weakest part of the structure - the thin piece metal between the 30-pin dock connector and the screen, and also where the case is extremely thin and flimsy. That bent into the glass, sending hairline cracks up to the top of the screen as well as shattering the glass around the home button, and as all us iOS device users should know, even gorilla glass can't handle that kind of impact. Luckily I have a screen protector on, so the glass didn't go everywhere and I can still use it without risking a trip to the hospital.
Sadly, my iPod is more than 2 years old and I didn't get Applecare support, so my question is...what are my chances of getting it replaced or even a discount on their currently ridiculous pricing ($109 + $19.95 P&H!) if I walk into an Apple store and ask? I have heard of many success stories of people getting their devices replaced, but I realise that the fact that it has passed its 2nd birthday will go harshly against my persuasive attempts.
Also, I live in Australia if that makes a difference. Here are some pics:

My Ipod Touch Screen has suddenly turned white and keep flicking different colours.
I've tried the 10 second restore but it still doesn't work what should I doTry doing this, force shut down iPod by holding down the "sleep" button and the "home" button until the screen turns off. Press the on button. If that doesn't work, then do another force shut down then plug your iPod into the computer while holding the "home" button until you see a picture showing a USB cord going into a iTunes logo. iTunes will display a pop up saying your iPod is in recovery mode and you have to restore it before it can be used. Restore it, but beware that all data will be erased. Hope you have a recent backup. If you fail to enter recovery mode, or the restore fails, enter DFU mode. Google how to enter DFU mode, if that dosn't work after the restore, ur iPod might have a graphical chip failure or something and it will have to be serviced

IPod Touch screen switches back and forth between lock screen and start-up screen.
iPod Touch 4th Generation
My iPod Touch screen has been showing the Apple logo with the loading wheel then it will switch to the lock screen. It keeps going back and forth. My iTunes and iPhoto programs recognize my iPod when I plug it in, but it's the iPod itself that doesn't seem to be working. I've already tried resetting it using the Power and Home button, and restoring it using iTunes. I can't turn the power off unless I reset it. It's still continuing to charge on its own but it won't let me unlock the screen.
I haven't dropped it so I don't know why it's like this. I've just had this replaced literally a month ago, so I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
Anyone experiencing this problem or know what to do?Have you tried placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restoring it. For recovery mode see:
