My ipod touch screen is broken and whenever i press the lock screen button, the screen is white, what can i do to fix this?

so my ipod touch screen is broken, and whenver i try to unlock the ipod screen, all that i can see is the top right hand corner of my ipod, and the rest is all whited out. Also, the jack which support the headphones to stay in place, one of the balls in the jack is pushed in which causes the headphones and stereo jack to slip all the time. I also have a problem which is when i try to sync my ipod to itunes. Last time i did it(which was 4 years ago), i synced my ipod and i started out with 225 songs, after the syncing process was complete, i ended up with 119 songs. I'm afraid to resync my ipod or back up my ipod to a computer because i dont want to lose the wonderful collection of 589 songs i have now. I'd really appreciate it if i got some feedback. Thanks.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

You are sure the mute switch is not on?
The mute switch is at the left side above the volume buttons. If it's red/orange then mute is on.

I no longer see my WD passport on the desktop and the time machine no longer backs up. What can I do to fix this? Thank you

I haven't had my iMac backed up in quite awhile because my WD passport is not being recognized. I went to disk utility to set it up again, but get the message "No configured AirPort base stations have been found." I've even did the simple thing of turning off my machine, unplugging the WD passport and then replugging it in after a rebooting. Nothing! What have I done to mess this up and can it be fix? Is the WD drive plugged into the Mac directly or into the Airport??
If it is in the airport.. unplug it and plug it back into the Mac.. you cannot use Disk Utility on remote drives.
The WD could be dead.. Disk utility should show you.

I recently downloaded Firefox 4 and now everything I send to my printer comes out jumbled. What can I do to fix this? Was able to print fine with 3.6.

Print is scattered all over the page(s). There is no real pattern to the jumble. Didn't have this problem with the older version. I use a Canon printer on my wireless network.

Welcome to the Support Communities! I'm not sure from your post what steps you have tried, but it sounds like you may need to use recovery mode to address the issue with your unresponsive iPod touch.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
