My daughters I phone was stolen yesterday, is there any way I can track it?

If you set up find my iphone BEFORE it was lost AND it is on AND it has not been restored, then you may be able to track it using icloud.
Otherwise, there is no way to track it.
Report it to the police and change your passwords.

  • My friend bought a new iMac and it was stolen. Is there any way to locate the computer using any information imbedded in emails or info on the computer? I heard that there is a way to track them.. Thanks so much. My friend is frantic..

My friend bought a brand new iMac and a couple weeks later it was stolen. Is there any way to track an iMac? It's the second time he's had a break=in and second time an iMac was stolen.  Thanks!! My friend is absolutely frantic about it.

If he Registered his mac in his icloud account and said yes to "Find my mac" than he can go to icloud.com, log-in, and than click find my mac. His mac can then be located.
    Good luck!

  • My iPod touch was stolen yesterday. I know theres pretty much no hope to get back, but is there anyway to retreve my pictures and videos?? ThanksIs there anyway

My ipod was stolen from a hotel lobby, i know thats its probably never gonna be returned  but! please let me know if there is anyway I can retrieve pictures or videos off my iPod touch that was stolen yesterday. I have priceless memories and did not download them. I'm so mad at my self for leaving it for someone to steal. And never activated the "find my device app" Thank u very much for any advice, wish there were more honest people in this world that would turn it in

Sorry about your lost Touch, and doubly sorry that you didn't have a chance to activate the "find my device" app.
The good news is that, presuming you use iTunes to sync your Touch, the songs are still on your HD. You can download the free Yamipod http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/12411/yamipod to get access to your music library. Needless to say, you can also access the library from your backup drive, should you have one.
If you don't use iTunes...there's not much I can do.

  • My daughters ipod touch was stolen yesterday on her bus ride home. she did how ever get it back today but the person tried so many times to get into it that it says "disabled" how can i fix this or do i need to take it into apple

Hello, I would like to know if any one could tell me how to fix my daughters ipod touch or if I need to take it into an apple store. One of the kids on her school bus stole it out of her backpack. My daughter got it back today at school but went to turn it on and the kid that stole it I guess tried to many times to get into so now when you turn it on it says "DISABLED". Can anyone please help!!!!   Thank you, Julie

Wipe it clean and restore it. You should then be able to rename the iPod and set up an account with iTunes. I hope this helps!

  • My daughters Ipod was stolen. Is there any way at all to track it?

My daughters Ipod was stolen while at school. How can I track the device in order to get it back??

    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
    - Apple will do nothing without a court order

  • HT1766 If you had already restored your ipod touch without backing up, is there any way to get your old data back?

Somehow, all my ipod touch's music was deleted so I restored it but forgot to back up. Now around a term past but I still don't how to get my old data back. Now the music thing still doesn't work so I don't know what happened. Maybe my itunes is stuffed??

i wanna know if my warranty covers it
No. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that develop after purchase. Your dogs' mauling is neither of those.
if it doesnt how much it will cost
A Google search for "ipod touch 2g parts" returned this. There are others you can find yourself.

  • Someone stole my 27 imac, is there any way to track it?

My 27" IMac was stolen.  is there any way to track it by using the serial number?

Unless you had it registered with Find My Mac via iCloud or installed third-party anti-theft software, there is no way to track it. If you need to, take precautions by canceling credit cards, checking accounts, etc. from which financial and personal data can be used to steal your money or identity. If you had it covered by insurance report it to the insurance company. Terminate your old email address and get a new one.
Otherwise, you are out the computer and whatever is on it.

If your iPod was purchased with a credit card, check with the card company.  Some cards provide Purchase Protection insurance which will replace or repair any item lost, stolen or damaged within 90 days of purchase.

  • My sons ipod touch was stolen is there anyway to trace it

my sons ipod touch was stolen  it there any way to trace it

If you have solid reason to believe that this person has the iPod, tell the police. If you can present some sort of concrete evidence, they can get a warrant to search the house, though whether they will do so for a theft of such low magnitude (relatively speaking) I don't know.
Otherwise, sorry, there's no way to trace the iPod.
    Regards.

    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod and wifi is on and connect go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and and go to FIndMyiPhone. If it shows up you can erase the iPod. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - Apple will do nothing. Thee is no way to prevent someone for restoring the iPod and using/selling the iPod.

  • My ipod touch was stolen, I'd like to remove all the content that was on it...

So my iPod touch was stolen. I've finally come to terms with the fact that I'll never see it again.
I'd really like to punish whoever stole it. I already changed all my passwords and billing information (it was stolen with my purse and I already changed my debit card). I signed into iTunes today and it says I have an outstaning balance. Whoever stole it must have tried to buy something before I changed everything. I'm already in the process of getting that taken care of.
So I looked at my apps and realised that I don't need them any more so I deleted them. It made a note that the content would be removed from ALL my devices, which got me thinking. Is there a way that I can remove all the music from my iPod as well? I dont want them listening to all my awesome music that I bought. I know that if I remove all my music from my library it will take it away from my iPod, but from my computer as well. Does anyone know if there is a way around this? Maybe if I do delete it from my library but get it back somehow, like maybe saving it somewhere else? I know it's a little far-feched but I would feel a little better about some stranger using my iPod (that my brother gave to me as a birthday gift while he was away at the Navy) if they also didnt have access to all the music that he and I bought. Any sort of hints would really be appreciated.
    Thanks =]

If you set up the Find My iPod service before the iPod was stolen, then if circumstances allow (the iPod is on, connected to WiFi, and the thief hasn't restored the iPod or otherwise disabled the service) you could wipe the device. If you didn't set up the service, though, then there's nothing you can do.

I know that if I remove all my music from my library it will take it away from my iPod, but from my computer as well
That only happens when you sync the iOS device to your computer. It does not remove anything from a non-connected iPod. So there's no need for you to remove your music, nor your apps, from iTunes on your computer since doing so has no effect on the stolen iPod.
