My ipod turns on shows the apple logo, then turn into a white screen until it dies.
I was updating my ipod and it was almost complete, it restarted and the loading bar under the logo stopped. Then the ipod restarted again and now when it turns on it shows the apple logo, then turns into a white screen until it dies. After I charge it again it does the same thing automatically. Ive tried to restart and restore it but it wont work. What do I do? I've tried all the troubleshooting and nothing is helping. The screen is also cracked, this wasnt the cause because it worked fine for 3 months after it was cracked.
See if placing the iPod in DFU mode will allow a restore.

If not successful that indicates a hardware problem. It could be that the damage started with the drop that also caused the cracked screen and the damage progress to the problem you have now. An example would a cracked that has finally progressed to it causing the problem.

Macbook pro boots past the apple logo then gets stuck on white screen
I have a macbook pro that won't boot all the way. When I turn it on it will go to the apple logo, and proceed past it then get stuck on a white screen. If you leave it on this white screen after a little while a grey ribbon will come across the top with little white squares and rectangles. The picture comes up like this (not sure if this will work) http://s863.photobucket.com/albums/ab198/helmerfan/?action=view¤t=9F4716F1 -3DE1-4799-A87A-9E8E5E918EF2-3530-00000378A8CDCED1.jpg#!oZZ5QQcurrentZZhttp%3A%2 F%2Fs863.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fab198%2Fhelmerfan%2F%3Faction%3Dview%26curre nt%3D60350C7C-C4F6-4040-A081-388B54FF77ED-2239-00000184408A3AD1.jpg
I took the hard drive out and tried to start it up with just the os x disk, and still got the same thing. I took the disk out and the hard drive out and then got the folder with the question mark. Someone said that it sounded like a graphics card issue, and if you all agree do you think that that would be something that a reflow would fix? IS MY IPOD DEAD?!?!?!?!?
I think I have the previous iPod Classic with a black glossy front and I am pretty sure it is glass at the front. My problem is that the
iPod does not turn on. Every time I attempt to turn it on it shows the Apple logo then a small icon showing a sad face with a
warning sign along with the Apple support website. At the same time I can hear the internal mechanics which is also very loud. I have attempted
to charge it as well as connecting it to itunes but no success. Could you please help?Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try the following:
- A reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- The connect to computer and try to restore via iTunes.
- Id something is still showing onthe screen, disconnect from computer/charging source and let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour, Try the reset and restore.
- If you can turn the iPod off, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restore. For recovey mode:

Phone keeps turning on and off, showing the apple logo, then repeating...
Try this. It worked for a few users after a drop.
Turn the iPad over and give it a very HARD slap on the back. May take several slaps.

That happened to my brother earlier. He went into Facebooand then into another app and the same thing happened. he ended up having to restore it. Mine stayed with the Apple logo for a bit but its back to normal after pressing the buttons a million times. I hope you get your problem sorted. Goodluck!

My iPad air would not start. Only show the apple logo then no reaction after that.
My iPad air would not start. Only show the apple logo then no reaction after that. This is already the 2nd time. Last time I sent back to the service center and they said it is the system problem and reset the system and charge me for the service because they said it is not a hardware problem. It happened less then 30 days and same problem again. Can someone please send me the hard-reset step so I can try myself before I send back to the service center again? thanks
Here's the hard reset info:

Hello s0ha1b
If all you get is the Apple logo and it powering off, then the next step is to put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. If you have a back up, then you can put that on there to once the restore is complete.
If you can't update or restore your iOS device

I've tried charging it for days. it doesnt do anything. I'll hold the home and power button for 10 seconds and it just shows the apple logo and then goes black. and when i plug it into my computer it wont recognize it.
Does it charge when you connect it to the adapter? If yes, make sure it is charged for about 10min, then connect in recovery mode, shown here: iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to restore
If still not recognized, try the troubleshooting here: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
