My iPod often freezes and I have to reset it often, whats wrong?? And is it bad for my ipod to restart often?

That may help. No a reset won't harm your iPod but if it needs to be done frequently that may be a sign of other issues.

But in the process most of the times it flickers again, and again, and again. I couldn't find a reason to identify what could be causing the issue. Also sometimes when it freezes, some group applications get ungrouped, causing a big mess.
I already tried to restore the phone, remove the SIM, delete all applications with no luck.

If restoring as new, without using a backup, didn't help, there is certainly a hardware problem that only replacement can fix. Your warranty is void unless you return to the USA. Short of that, finding a local independent iPhone repair center would be your only option -

not even 20 minutes ago i accidentally dropped my iPod touch generation 5. and the screen wasn't responding. it went dark blue/ black color. when you press the on/off button or the home button, all that happens is that the screen light up but not eh background,time and etc. its just a simple black screen with a glow. my iPod has already being cracked before. and i haven't fixed it.

The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. Have a problem where I'll occasionally shift my computer (i.e. physically move it, say from the coffee table to my lap on the couch) and it will freeze and the screen will turn into a bunch of horizontal multicolored lines (closer to 100 lines than 5). Usually restarting (by holding the power button to turn it off) works. A few times that has resulted in the three beeps (RAM issue? -- I've since replaced my RAM [it *seemed* to stop it for a while, but maybe not]), but the second time it always works. Attempting to SSH into the computer during this state does not work. Please advise as to what to do/what reports I can run and post. I will take a pic next time it happens.

OS 10.6.8Sounds like a problem with your GPU. Do you have an external display you could connect your machine to in order to test this? If the external display renders the same way, then your GPU is damaged. If the external renders fine, then the CPU display is damaged.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons and await restart. No content will be affected.

Hi, I just got my new iPod Nano 4th Gen. and the screen is blank... It's not on and its plugged into my Mac OS X Mountain Lion. I don't know what to do. Help!?
If it is plugged into a USB hub (or the spare keyboard port), try connecting it to a direct USB port.
Also, try doing this Reset procedure, while it is connect to power.

IiPad air2 suddenly freezes, the screen goes black but the sound is still on, I have taken it back to factory settings and it was OK then yesterday it froze again, only plugging it into my IMac got it going again. Anyone else got this problem?

My ipad freezes and the screen won't rotate, how do I fix it?
My ipad screen freezes either horizontally or vertically and I can't ever get it to turn back. Anyone know how to fix this?
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
Also be advised that there is a screen lock function but it's been a disaster since Apple decided to pacify the whiners. Check it out here.

In case you're wondering, here is the history. Originally, the mechanical switch affected only the rotation lock and the mute was a software switch elsewhere. In IOS-3, it was changed to be the mute switch and the rotation lock became a software switch. This was done to ensure consistency among IOS devices. Unfortunately, a large quantity of users complained loudly, alleging that they turned the rotation lock on and off several times every hour and the convenience of the mechanical switch is essential. In IOS-4, Apple bowed to the whiners and made the switch function selectable and now we're stuck with a mess. -
