My iPod will not make sounds. It says it is playing but it doesn't. What should I do?
My iPod will not make sounds. It says it is pplaying but it dpesn't play the music. What I mean by that is the bar to tell you how far you are in the song and how much longer you have of the song is moving but no sound is coming out. What should I do?
What kind of iPod is this? Have you tried a different set of headphones to see if that makes any difference?
If no luck there, work through the usual 5 R's of troubleshooting to help eliminate any possibility of a corrupted software or data on the device.

Ok, so I've my iPod Touch Gen 5 with iOS 7.0.2 has says it's been syncing since this morning. This problem has never occered before but the syncing will not stop or even continue to finish syncing. I'm unable to find what is wrong or how to fix. I also could not view video on websites as per usual but now that seems to be okay again, whether it was something I did or other mystery.
I don't know if this will work and I know nothing about the BT homehub, but it's worth a shot. Reboot the hub, unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. Wait until the hub fully boots ups and then see if the iPad will recognize it.

I just recently downloaded the newest iTunes and moved all my purchased and already owned music to another PC. Every since I did that I cannot get my iPad 1 to even be recognized in iTunes. I have Authorized the PC in iTunes, but my iPad still will not allow me to sync. I'm at a loss...PLEASE HELP!!!
1. You need to authorize iTunes on the new computer with your Apple ID.
2. Make sure you turn off auto sync in iTunes
3. Connect your iPad to iTunes via USB and when it is recognized, right click on the device from the Device list on the left of your iTunes page and choose transfer purchases.
4. Once purchases are transfered and you have authorized the iTunes account, you should be able to sync. -
I have downloaded Mountain Lion but it will not allow me to install because the time machine uses the hard drive to back up. How do I solve this problem?
Unless you are trying to install on an external hard drive that actually has been used for Time Machine backups, this is usually caused by having a folder named "Backups.backupd" on your hard drive somewhere. It may be at the root level of the hard drive, but may also be elsewhere. Try searching for it, and then delete it. (You shouldn't need it.)

IPhone keeps saying connect to iTunes but won't restore what should I do?
I bought a 5C and it was working fine, but needed an update and had the person I bought the phone off had their iCloud still on. I asked them for the password but as he didn't know me he said he didn't trust me so I looked online and it said to force it to restore I should put it in DFU mode then plug it in to iTunes and it will restore. Now it just displays a iTunes logo (in red) and a lightning cable and arrow. Basically telling me to plug the phone into iTunes but i do and it won't restore, i try to restore it and it says error 1, 3,18 or 2006. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! What should I do?

I have added music from my CD library to iTunes on my PC. I now have too many songs in my iTunes and I have insufficient space in my 8 Gb Nano. I am unable to sync my iPod now. How can I get my iPod to sync? I only want a portion of my songs on the Nano.

First, make sure your iTunes does not attempt to sync automatically. Open iTunes, and select Preferences under the iTunes menu item:
Then, once you have hooked up your device and selected it, you should see the device Profile pages to the right. Select the Music tab:
Once you get to the Music detail screen, you will see the option to "Sync Music". You can then select "Sync Entire Music Library" or you can select "Sync Selected Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres". Click on the second one. Then, below, you can select which of your music from the library you want on your device:
Your will show a list of your music. Mine doesn't because I sync with an iTunes library on different computer, but once you have selected the options I have shown you, you will see the music listed. Just pick what you want on your device and then click "Sync" at the bottom.

New Ipod will not install on XP - says need drivers
Just got a new ipod 30gb. when i connect to my PC (it's fine on other people's) a 'found new hardware' message appears. The wizard then looks to install but says it cannot find drivers. The ipod doesn't appear in iTunes or My computer, but if i look in device manager when it is connected there is an exclamation mark and a message saying no drivers are installed. Please help me locate these drivers or sort out this problem, thanks.

I've tried to fix this by plugging in and unplugging the headphones over and over but it won't work... in order to hear someone on a call i have to put it on speakerphone. anything else i can try?
